I think that really is your choice.
And I must say, I can only count three council members from that lot. |

The crazed council and the city council are two different membership groups. I'm sure the other most prominent citizens of IF will appear in the storychat - although some of them may wish they hadn't after the fact ;) |

Oh, great - not another cute moment.*
*By which I include being made to wear pink spandex, or being a plushie. |

When have I ever made you into something cute, Lordy?
Although, now that you mention it... no pink, right? How about pale peach? ;) |

Ooh. Sounds interesting, Shady. Though I doubt I can do it on the 23rd. Tech Rehearal, AKA Hell Week starts that Sunday, so I doubt I will be near a computer for some number of hours. |

Hope to see lots of people there. :D |

Sunday 11th June will be the next Official Storychat.
It'll be at 6pm BST (GMT+1) - visit here to work out the local time where you are.
A mayoral birdie has informed me that Lord of the plush..erm, Night may have a little something planned to delight us all.
However, if that date isn't convenient for him, then it's open for volunteers to step in.
I hope many of you can make it.

This I gotta try, I think that's noon in California, unless I've made a mistake. Hopefully I'll be there. |

The 11th is still four days away. The one you missed, was nothing more than something I threw together completely spur of the moment, simply to the all the people who thought it was last week entertained. |

Hmm. I know I ought to be writing some stories *looks hopelessly at his signature* but I've got a very good idea for a storychat brewing in my mines. I'll go off and prod Key, see if he likes the idea.
If so, then I'll go ahead and post it here. Muwahaha. |

Sorry Lordy. I'm not going to be able to make this one. Visiting sick relatives for the day :(
Good luck with it, and I'll read it when I get back. |

I'm sorry people. but I'm not going to be able to do it either. I'm really not in a good mood to write anything, due to circumstances, and anything I did would be sh!t, so I'm just not going to put you through it.
If someone else wants to write something, I may still turn up, I don't know. |

Oh well - it looks like this week has fallen apart - I have nothing to write myself, but I'll pop down and see if anyone is around at the time.

Right, I've promised to Key to show up for the 18th and do a SC then.
Imagine the City...ASSIMILATED!!!
Here's the prelude:
Smee sat back, reclining in his Mayoral seat of power. Things had been going well in the city as of late. Mauddib and Chinaren had come to a sort of cease-fire for the moment, the new storygame wall had been patched up from Kallana running into it, and the Idearium mines had never produced so much.
It was the start of a disastrous day.
Fauna barrelled into the office, wings flapping furiously, looking for all the world like she'd just outrun a horde of spam-bots.
"Fauna! What is it?"
She alighted (Although skidded and knocked several Redbull cans off would be more appropriate) on his desk. "Smee! You've got to come quick! It's...horrible!"
And so, Smee was dragged bodily out of his office by a crazed fairy to witness a spectacle that could only destroy the city. Granted, it didn't look like much at first.
"It doesn't look like much, people are running and screaming from Skiffyville, that's a normal reaction to some of those stories."
Fauna glared at him. "I'll just take you for a closer look then, shall I?"
Before he could protest, Smee was once again dragged bodily towards a horrendus scene.
People with grey-green skin, tight leatherish clothing, metallic body plates, and robotic limbs were the cause of the screaming. They continually said one phrase over and over.
"I am Thalaf of Borg. Lower your shields and surrender. Your biological and technological distinciveness will be added to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile. You will be assimliated."
Smee's first response was shock at how this horror could be unleashed upon the city. Then he came out of his stupor as a Borg drone was attempting to assimilate him. Quickly darting back, he inscribed the rune for a fireball (Although he really needed to do the dance) and watched it slam into the drone, sending it back into a warehouse. Fauna was hovering above another drone, so Smee let fly with a lightning bolt, shorting out it's circuts and sending it to the floor as a pile of goo.
"Fauna! We have to fall back!"
"Where to?" |

If you can, do it at the time Key posted at the start of this thread. That way lots of people can get on and it's good for me cause my mum won't let me on any screens before 5pm. |

They do, although there's unfortunately no regular time for them anymore. You can see the latest by going into the chat room and clicking on Archives or Recent History. |

Most of the time they happen when there are a lot of people on, and at least one person has the pass. |
