Forum Cleanup

The IF Technical Institute has undergone the following changes as part of a 'Spring' clean (at the start of Autumn :laf: ) to make it a more focused and user friendly Forum:

1) A new homepage has been added that links into all the threads now within the TI.

2) A feedback thread has been created for comments/improvements.

3) Many threads have been moved to the archives (School Marm threads and those discussing election issues for last Spring's elections - a thread summarising some of the latter has been posted in the Institute) and a couple have been pruned or replaced with an updated thread. A few of the threads have been edited and had unhelpful posts removed but otherwise largely remain unchanged.

4) The Shameless Advertising thread has been pruned, edited and moved to the Open Forum.

5) Obviously this thread has been created to inform of the changes that have occured :) , announcements of further large scale changes to the TI will be posted here.

UPDATE:

Policing and deletion of spam within the IF Technical Institute will needless to say have an ongoing and continuous role to play in ensuring content stays relevent. Post on the feedback page if there is a problem relating to this or anything else on the feedback page for the TI (link below).
