This is looking like a bit of a given, but I will keep the poll open over the weekend anyway.

Now all I have to do is totally rethink my entire plotline. :shock:

Yes, I do believe he should hock the jewels first. How will the merchants accept him if he has nothing? I wonder if the people who voted the last option think like me, or if the majority is against hocking the jewels. Z is against it, anybody else? I ask this merely because it is a point of confusion I'd like to resolve before China writes the next chapter.

I said go to a nearby garrison, though I now know that to be a bad choice as the are in support of Eldra and would most likely make him "disappear."

Hocking the jewels seems pretty dangerous. Won't the merchants accept him as a guard since he has a sword? He can make up a story about being robbed or something to explain his rags.

:lol: Not a great guard if he were robbed ;) The robbers managed to overpower him enough to strip him of his clothing, down to his small clothes, yet didn't take his sword?

I can't think of any plausible reason for him wearing rags, and having a sword, other than him being a thief on the run, having stolen the sword. Probably not something the merchant band would want.

I voted for selling, gearing up and exploring.
