A Shattered Nation
The land of Cheng was divided through the ambitions of greedy men. Some fought for absolute power for no one but themselves, some fought for a better future for the people and some fought because they saw no other choice but to defend their land.
Cheng was brought to its knees by the infighting that rose up among its ruling family the Yan, who due to this split into two warring factions the Tan and Han. This fight over the crown prompted other contenders to rise up, first among these were the mighty Meng family of the rich Southern territories. The Meng were not true Cheng people, but a tribe that had been pacified generations before. They had risen in support of their liege lord Meng Chong, a valiant and powerful warrior who firmly believed it was the Meng's goal to lead Cheng to a brighter future. They were close allies with their eastern neighbours the Dang family and their eastern counterparts the Zhu. This coalition held the South and a small part of the East.
The next man to step forward to push his claim on the land was Liu Chen, prefect of the North East territories he had subjagated many of his smaller neighbours early on in the civil war, so when he made his claim public there was no one to oppose him. His vital hold on those lands were causing strife amongst the coalition as the Zhu and Liu armies skirmished on their borders.
To the West three powers had arisen. The most prominent were the Ce clan, who had held many key posts in the history of the Yan and were regarded as the next likely choice to rule Cheng. They were led by the dynamic Ce Wang, a politician who with his silver tongue had convinced many great warriors to his service as well as able tacticians. This power had forced the other two powers to hit Ce early. These allies were the Lu and Zi, with Lu in command of the greatest warrior in the land, who went by the name of Kai Zhai.
In the centre the shattered Yan family pettily fought while their land was divided up and rivers of blood flowed in many battles across the land...
In this tale you shall read of the lives of many characters during this struggle and your opinions shall shape who ultimately sits on the throne. You shall here the stories of fierce warriors, impassioned individuals and those swept up in this turbulent time. The first chapter shall give you a taste of what to expect... |

| Sadly the map will not be that easy as all I have is paint  so I'll see if I can find a suitable one from the internet and just copy it over and make some little edits here and there. |

| Much fighting, it will be an interesting story for sure. I'm not certain what to do about the map problem, I could draw one, but I don't have a working scanner on hand, conjuring up one from The Darkness is just to much work for a lazy Player like myself, especially when you haven't had any Stones. |

Do you have a digital camera? They can be a rough scanner substitute. |

| No I do not. I am deprived :( . The only other way I can do it is take the map from dynasty warriors and try and alter it to this SG. It might work it might not. |

| Would you might have a friend on hand who could scan the map for you? The next best thing is what you suggested, I've seen the dynasty map while playing the game, it is a nice one and will be useful if edited right. I wish you luck in your endeavor. |
