Please leave comments on how I can improve the story itself. The story is a bit confusing to follow and I tried my best to edit that, so any ideas would be helpful. thanks :)


Untouched and Unopened Secrets
Chapter 1: Confused and Wounded


Above the sky's there was Atrix gliding across the midnight sky. His long white wings spread wide open like an eagles, blonde hair flowing in the wind and his bright blue eyes fixed on the forest below him, searching for his prey, searching for the demon he has long sought for. Yet he finds himself not knowing why he pursues him, that is until his mentor Kerados told him the reason earlier that night, his words echoing in his mind.

“Atrix so honorable and noble. I find it hard at times to believe that you are a demon, yes you heard correct, you are not an angel but a demon. To be correct you are a half-demon, human like your mother but stained of the blood from your father. But that is not half the story, and I do not find it in my place to tell you the whole, are you not pursuing a half-breed. Yes he is not the full blooded demon as you expected him to be, but I will not take anymore of your time. I will tell you why you sought him so, why your heart ale's you to do as such. He is your younger brother and I will tell you no more, now be off.”

Atrix rushes back to reality, knowing full well what he had heard that night was not a dream.

“My brother.” Atrix said with such shock and astonishment.
“How can this be, I must catch this demon at once to find the truth out for myself.” Confused, Atrix found himself surrounded with darkness, not physically but mentally. Every ounce of his strength depleting every time he tried to escape it. But there was no escaping it, it would stay there and haunt him, torture every single speck of his soul, body and mind. But there was still one question that remained, what was 'it'... that he cannot escape from, is it the truth or something much worst... himself. Suddenly his attention was caught by a large demonic aura that was traveling with such great speed, he himself couldn't keep up with it. Atrix had found him, and with one great swooping movement only a ray of light was left where Atrix once was.

“Ahh!!, damn that demon, the poison has already started to spread. To bad he's dead otherwise I'd kill him again... what nerve striking me from behind... COWARD!!. But I must still face the fact that he wounded me, and with his poison claw no less, this night couldn't get any worst.” But just then he saw an angel like figure sweeping across the sky's. Kashmere bolted out of sight and branched on a branch (like you would find a crow do) then hid his demonic aura under a shield.


“Humph, he mustn't be concentrating very well if he hadn't sensed my demonic aura earlier, that or he's weak, but angels don't normally let one of there own wonder about if they aren't strong enough. Either way my night has become much worst, all probably cause of my big mouth!. Ahh!!, I don't have time for this nonsense, I have to get my wound fixed up. Honestly, Shade being capable of shadow-stepping should come to me, not me to her. Ahh well, what do you expect she is just a human after all, a human that I don't feel attracted too in any way. I don't find her to 'my' liking at all, I mean she is just another human, it's not as if 'I' could ever, 'WE' could ever. AHH!!!, damn Sullivan and his ridicules thoughts, his plagued my mind with them. I must concentrate and find away out of this forest.”

Kashmere moved from one branch and then to another, the air was thick and uneasy, he could smell humans approaching which made him more eager to escape. Still moving from branch to branch Kashmere then realized that he had forgottin that there was an angel afoot too, and when he looked up at the sky to check if the angel had noticed him, all he could see was a ray of light. It was time to get out of there more than ever this time.


Next Chapter: The serious but not so serious encounter.
