Dr Atticus Kaine
36
Appearance:
Personality: Kaine is a very intelligent individual who believes what he is doing is for the greater good and to be used as a deterrent not as a weapon. Kaine also has a short temper and has a tendency to lose it over small things. Due to Kaine's constant exposure to radiation from his parents experiment and his, he seems to have a stronger immune system than others. Kaine is calm under pressure and has basic Firearms and Medic training both of which are standard when taking a job on the station.
Facility Staff, Head of Biochemical Research and Deputy Director of Operations, Works and Lives on the station.
Kaine Parent were killed at the start of the war in 2009 as they were leading scientist in the space program and so were seen as threats, Kaine then took the position on the first shuttle to the new facility on titan where he was told he would be developing a viral deterrent which would stop the war |

Name: Dr. Michael Fuller
Age: 27
Appearance:
(Hey, if he could get a pic from Gamespot... :D )
Personality: Always willing to help with a warm smile on his face, he is always standing aside observing everyone. Trying not to get noticed and careful what he is talking... and how. Has a very trained mind, so he cannot break under pressure, and psychic powers have little effect on him. A very cold-headed and rational guy all in all.
Facility staff, Head of the Medical Section (MedSec)
Profession: Doctor
Reason to be on the station/Biography: Born in a lower class family, his parents invested everything they had in his education. They weren't disappointed, he finished some high medical schools and made fast progress in his career. Seeing his talent, good nature and vast knowledge of human psychology, his superiors felt threatened. Fearing for their own positions, they sent him on the Titan facility to "explore his talents and use his unique skills and personality there". Since he is a very kind and optimistic person, he accepted the offer (like he had a choice, they would send him there anyway). In a short term his new colleagues on Titan accepted him with opened hands; since most of the doctors on Titan were women and the men there were a$$holes. Unlike them, he could keep a secret to himself, and he didn't use the people around him to ascend in the medical scene. He quickly progressed through the ranks and with the support from his colleagues he was named Head of the Medical Section, a decent set of facilities inside the Titan station that was taking care of the station's crew. Now he is supervising the most critical medical research and the MedSec's functioning, and he does everything he can to ensure that everything is in order, including the psychological state of his subordinates... no, not subordinates. Friends. |

Half-Life ROCKS.
Name: Sgt. Ryan Anderson
Age: 25
Appearance:Just look up any picture of the standard U.S. Marine(taking into account technology shifts). White, male, from northeast Texas(if Texas still exists). Slightly under 6 ft. Dark brown hair, green eyes. Not quite pale, but almost. Just insert the features specified into this picture, minus the glasses.
Personality: Professional, Loyal. Always willing to lay his life on the line for the right cause.
Bio: Born a middle-class citizen, Sgt. Anderson had nothing to live for, no purpose, until he signed up for the marines. From then on he dedicated his life in service to others, and always took opportunities to help people. Stationed on Oddysseus to guard a project he knows nothing about except that it is supposed to be the cure for war, and to take control of the minimal marine presence on Titan. Sgt. Anderson's dominant strenght is his loyalty and discipline. His prevailing weakness is his aversion to social contact other than on a professional level, and his inability to keep from helping people in danger, even people he dislikes, often putting his life on the line for what seems like a pointless cause. |

Name:
Rosaria Hayden (But everyone calls her Rose)
Age:
24
Appearance:
Personality:
She's a bit stand-offish, all about her job. She'll come off a bit arrogant, especially since she doesn't talk much, but that's not because she THINKS she's better than everyone else; she KNOWS she's better. She doesn't trust easily and if she gets injured, (yeah right) she brushes it off and moves on to the next part of her job. Many feel threatened by her presence, just because she's got an overpowering personality by her stance alone. She's got a quick decision making process and will shoot first, ask questions later without a moment's hesitation if she needs to. She has access to all security systems and knows them inside and out; if there's someone that shouldn't be there, she knows about it first and is first on the scene to take them out.
Facility Staff:
Head of Base Security
Profession:
Soldier
Biography/Reason on Station:
Rose has actually a dual purpose of being on the station, she's actually a spy from a small radical group that opposes the research being done on the Titan facility. This group is small but has financial backing from rich and powerful families all over the world; they kidnapped her father, a US army Major General and the ransom is his daughter using her head of security position to sabatoge the facility's research.
She herself rose through the ranks in the army as well, as expected of the only child of Major General Hayden; when she was stationed in the facility, she had earned her first star, giving her the rank of Brigadier General. Pure military material, she knows her way around all guns and has extensive hand-hand combat training. |

Name: Mikhail Dolvich
Age: 37
Appearance:
Personality: Analytic, stratetic and progressive, always goes towards his goal
Profession:Ex mafia hitman
Biography: Mikhail Dolvich was born in the heart of Moscow's most crime-infested area and every day brought another fight and in no time the life of crime was Ivan's last resort. Already in the age of 14 he got his first connections to mafia and a local boss decided to send him to the USA to keep him away from a gang war.
In the States he studied electronics and supported himself with armed robberies and doing hits for his boss who had gotten him there in the first place. Mikhail would be the ultimate infiltrator with his extensive knowledge of electronics and computers, but his violent nature usually makes him blast his way through troubles like any normal mafia member. The years spent in the USA have taught him to hide his Russian accent, which usually makes his comrades stand apart from people of other nationalities.
Like most of his comrades, he loves vodka and cigarettes and no-one has ever even heard of anyone who would have seen Ivan somewhere without two handguns and a knife. After visiting pretty much all the worst places of Earth, he knows that being prepared is the key to survival. That and being faster than anyone else. If they bite the dust before you do, you are safe.
At the age of 37, Mikhail fled Russia and decided to retire from his profession as there was hardly anything for him to achieve, but he did not want to go back to the USA because it was too dangerous for him in there, so he left with many other refugees away from Earth. Unfortunately the spacecraft was forced to land in Titan, or to the Oddyseus to be more exact. Little does Mikhail know that the troubles are just about to start.
Edit: Fixed for consistency. Should not watch TV and type simultaneously. |

Name: Marissa(Mari for short) Stylls
Age:26
Appearance:
Personality: Marissa is always strict and abides by the rules. She can be very harsh most of the time, but if you catch her at the right moment, you can find she’s somewhat nice. It’s hard to gain her trust. She is always suspicious about the people around her. She hardly lets anyone in on her private life.
Facility Staff/ Head of transportation
Profession: Solider
Why are you on the Vessel/Station: She is on orders by the Air Force to be there
Biography: Marissa grew up in a strict military family. She abided by the strictest rules any child had to live under. She hated it. She was always rebellious and her father sent her to a military school after she got busted for possession of drugs. When she turned 18, Mari joined the air force. It was against her family’s will since they were all in the Navy, but she decided that flying in the air was her true calling. She rose through the ranks to Major quickly using her talent and intellectual skills as a pilot. In January of 2016, she was handed an order to be the head of transportation on a refugee ship heading for the Saturn settlement. At first, she refused but then she ended up accepting the mission the day before departure. |

I didn't mean direct investment of money, I was thinking of a more delicate approach, such as selling machinery and such. Criminal organizations usually have legitimate business as well.
And well, my initial idea was that his background with electronics would justify sending him there as an engineer or something along those lines. I can fix it anyway you want it to be though. |

| I kind of figured he wouldn't get anything there. Facilities like that must've been protected like Pentagon to the power of ten. I rewrote some of his history and I'm editing it in any time now. |

(((LET THE GAMES BEGIN)))
Kaine exited the quarantined zone quickly discarding his apron and mask into the bin. Kaine placed his lab jacket on and strolled quickly down the corridor toward the docking bay. Why now he thought why did the refugee transport have to come now just as they had developed a deliverable strain of the virus.
The cold concrete walls all looked the same as Kaine turned the twist and turns of the base.He reached the lift and swiped his ID the lift sped upwards quickly as he reached the surface the doors opened onto docking area.
Kaine turned to his right and looked at a gathering of the heads of departments.
"Rose I hope you throughly check all of them I don't want any contra banned on this base. And Michael I hope I don't have to remind you how Important you screen all of them throughly for Disease, the slightest sniffle and it could be two years research down the pan god knows what will happen if it mutated." |

Hearing her name mentioned, Rose's head snapped towards Dr. Kaine. She rolled her eyes, irritated slightly by his comment but said nothing and merely strode forward confidently, her right hand resting casually on her hip, near her holster. In her left, she held all of the files for every single refugee on the ship; she did her job and she did it well. Unless they had security clearance from the UN itself with the little stamped seal on the paper work, they weren't getting past her. Luckily, they checked out.
She was half-tempted to press the code on the doorway that would lock down the area from the rest of the facility until she had given each one a pat-down personally.... but the officers under her command assured her that they had done searches on the ship.
She handed Kaine the paperwork, giving him an annoyed look at the besmirch to her name, knowing that he knew exactly what the look was for. She then stood back in the line with the other heads of departments, a parade rest, hands behind back, feet placed firmly at a 45 degree angle, head held high and proud. |

There was one missing from the line. That was Mari. She was attending to a problem on the other side of the docking bay.
"Just get a maintinence crew on this. You should have known to take care of this yourself instead of getting me and now Dr. Kaine is over there and I'm not there," She said as she started to walk away.
"But ma'am you just can't ignore this!" a man's voice yelled at her. Marissa turned around and walked up to him.
"I already told you to take care of it yourself! It's minor! You should have never even taken me away from my post! It's time for you to get your ass in gear and start doing things yourself. Now get a maintinence crew on it and leave me to my job!" Mari yelled at him.
She jogged over to the line where the other heads of departments were and straightened out her uniform. She muttered under her breath something about not coming here to babysit. Mari sighed as she stopped right beside Rose and stood in the same stance that she was standing in, though her head wasn't held as high. |

Ryan walked into the room extremely annoyed. He approached Rose, and with frustration slipping into his voice from behind the mask of cold formality, addressed her. "Excuse me, Brigadier General, but I really need those security reports. My men cannot do their jobs unless they have sufficient information about what they are doing. I am walking blind here. If I don't recieve them later today, I'm messaging HQ. That is all, ma'am."
After speaking with Rose, Ryan joined the line, exchanging brief greetings with the other heads. |

Rose's eyes narrowed at Anderson's cocky attitude. Those marine SOBs think they're tough shit... every single one of them.. Her hand twitched slightly on her hip, itching to draw her gun, but she kept cool and merely gave the sergeant the middle finger.
"The bio-chem geek has them Sergeant," She stated, emphasizing the word sergeant, to make her point that she was not someone to be pushed over. "He wanted a look at them before I opened the dock bay's doors." She nabbed the papers from Kaine and shoved them in Anderson's hands in one swift movement, her motions barely disturbing the air. "I do my job correctly the first time, Anderson. You would do well to remember that." She hissed in his ear as she passed him, striding over to a panel and punching in a code that would lock all exits from the area. "But now your men can do their jobs and I don't have to worry about security breaches."
Then without another word she strode over to the dock doors and hit the button that would let in the refugees. |

The doors opened slowly revealing the group of refugees that were forced to land on Titan. Among them there is a worried man, Mikhail Dolvich. He knows facilities such as this tend to have very tight security measures and if he was unlucky, the staff already knows who he is and it makes him a bit anxious though he was set free in court because there was no evidence.
"Keep your eyes open Mikhail and act cool, they have nothing on you," was the only thought going through his mind when he prepared himself to face anything.
The first glance at the row imposing figures verifies it, this place indeed was well-controlled and there must be surveillance everywhere. Not the first time Mikhail finds himself in a place like this, but not being armed is new to him.
"I think I need a cig..." was the last thing Mikhail thought of before he had to start paying attention to the staff and observe their reactions to his presence. |

Kaine looked at Rose "Watch who your calling geek one word from me and you will be back on the front line" Kaine turned and watched as the heavy steal door opened and the refugees began slowly filing in where they were assigned to a med station and one of the doctors checked them out.
"Even the slightest sign of Infection I want them shot. You Here Me rose slightest sign" Kaine turned and his gaze met that of a mans in the crowd his head was low his body language defensive.
"You sir come here" The man looked shifty untrustworthy "Micheal screen him personally I don't like the looks of him, You" Kaine said pointing at the marine "find his file now" Kaine voice rang with distaste and biter resentment "The tiniest anomaly on that file rose, one black spot in the history one sign of disease and I will hold you personally responsible |

Mari watched the whole thing with Rose, Anderson and Kaine and was a bit thankful that she had more control over her subordinates. Or so she thought. The one man that was giving her trouble before ran up to her, slipped and fell right into her. She was knocked right on the ground in front of Kaine. That was it, she was going to blow up right in front of everyone.
"WHAT THE BLOODY HELL WERE YOU THINKING? CAN'T YOU TELL I'M BUSY?" Mari yelled getting up on her feet and took a deep breath. "That's it. I have had enough with you. I'm stripping you of your rank and you cannot say that I can't because here, I'm in charge of your sorry ass. Now get back to work, and I don't want to hear that sorry voice of yours whenever you are in my presence."
She gave him no time to answer before she signaled him to get back to his job. She closed her eyes and opened them. Mari got back in line and dusted off the dirt from her uniform. She was pissed off and was clearly showing it on her face. She watched the refugees silently, looking each one over. Marissa didn't trust any of them. |

A medium built man in a doctor's uniform was scanning the people that were in line. It was Dr. Fuller, the head of the station's Medical Section. He wanted to make sure everything goes right and that nothing slips past him, not even the slightest bit of disease.
"Hey, nerd" Rose spoke to the man "Don't screw this up, or your ass is mine."
"Honey, I don't need to tell you your ass was mine the moment you were assigned here." Mike responded "I, unlike you, can see your ass at any time." he chuckled. Perverted jokes tend to relax people who need to work with each other for a long time. That's one of the unwritten social rules.
She obviously had a strong character... and leg. She stepped on his toes while passing by.
"Oooops." She grinned.
Mike let out a slight grunt, still looking at the small scanning device that was in his hand. Suddenly he jumped. "I've got one. Zero point zero zero zero five promilles of disease elements running in bloodstream." He pointed at the direction his little apparatus was showing without even looking up. He raised his view from the device... |

Hey can i add a refugee character please? I think you need another.
Required Information
Name: Starshine Xanadu
Age: 19 years old
Appearance:
Personality: A gentle girl with an endearing personality, Starshine comes across as being very shy and intimidated. Raised in an intellectualist commune she is a pacifisit who finds herself drawn to ppl with power, thus causing conflict with herself and her upbringing. She is the last of her people.
Profession: Refugee
Why are you on the Vessel/Station:
bought to the station on the refugee vessel. The Intellectualist Commune where she was raised was caught up in the war and all her family and friends were killed. Starshine lived, though she doesnt know how or why, and was forced to flee to the refugee camps where she was herded onto a vessel.
Biography:
A waif like creature Starshine spent her life growing up amongst intellectuals and dreamers, she has the ability to see beyond the immediate scenario and with the innocence and naivete of youth she makes decisions with her gut. Her parents protected her from the visual realities of war yet told her all the facts of it, thus leaving her totally innocent and unprepared when the war came to them.
Essentially her mind froze out the images of her family being blown to bits (etc) and she has significant gaps in her memory (over the periood of the last year - during which she (and her family) was fleeing from the war itself.
She spent the time on the transporter helping to care for the sick and elderly and telling stories to the children. |

Starshine looked up from where she was crouched amongst the infants, she cradled them in her arms and sang softly to keep them calm whilst she watched what was taking place.
The SALVATION group had stormed aboard on a mission and she was afraid that rather than compassion what she could see in their eyes was blood. They spoke tersely to each other for a few moments and then a man in a white coat, presumably some kind of doctor, started scanning the refugees.
The Doctor had given orders for the troops to drag an elderly man to the front of the group, seperating him from his companions.
'This one, Dr Kaine, carries the Omega Disease. Potentially capable of taking out the whole colony if it breaks out.'
The one called Kaine nodded, a terse jerking motion that bought a woman forward out of the shadows. With a pistol crack the old man was falling to his knees, blood spilling out from a wound between his eyes and pooling on the floor.
Starshine winced and drew the babies tighter towards her, shushing them softly to still their cries. The movement attracted attention and she looked up with fearful brown eyes to find herself under scrutiny. |

Mikhail follows the discussion between Rose and Mike noting the tone they were using and wondering how can people get away with such jokes. It seems the cultural difference was even larger than he remembered, the last few years in Russia and all the time spent in the USA were like living on two different planets. To Mikhail there were good sides on both of them, but there was no time to get nostalgic and think of them now.
Mikhail coughs a little and watches Dr. Atticus straigth to eyes and asks politely: "Excuse me sir, but is there any place I could smoke? This trip has been nervewrecking, but luckily we found a place to land here." |

"I'm sorry, but you'll have to wait until you get to the Common Section." Kaine replied "No smoking in a 75 meters perimeter while we are checking the cargo vessels."
Just my luck. A man can't have a decent smoke on this rock. Mikhail thanked him and walked over to a commercial touchscreen on the wall. He skimmed over the advertisement but he was actually listening to what the guards next to the door that led to the inside of the facility were talking about...
---
Fuller turned to the team. "Sterile bodybag, now. We need to get this guy to MedSec Seven. By no circumstances should the bag be opened. And please, someone, get the quaran-team here. We don't want the people here to catch a nasty disease." |

Rose, while slightly entertained by the doctor's flirtations, chewed on her lip as she holstered her gun after shooting the elderly refugee.
Can I still go through with it? With all these people here? This wasn't a part of the original plan..... does it change what I have to do? What would Papa say? Rose's thoughts were broken by the slight movement midst some of the young refugees. A girl with bright red hair and doe-like eyes was shushing the babes that were scared by her gunshot. A very skinny little thing, quite petite as a matter of fact. Rose made a mental note about that girl, how she seemed very out of place here.
Then she returned to her reverie, hearing her father's voice in her head out of memory.... A mission is a mission, Rosaria... you take on a mission, then you're committed to follow it through... no matter the cost.
Fuller nodded to Kaine as he passed his examination instrument over the last of the refugees, who in turn gave Rosaria the "clear" hand sign to unlock the rest of the base.
She snagged the radio from her belt and intoned into it as she moved to the codepad to unlock the area that the refugees were in so they could get to the rest of the base.
" Lieutenant Colonel Wagner, I want Major Turner in my office.... immediately." Her voice was cold, the words almost spat like icicles in the middle of winter. She strode off towards her division, dark hair pushed back gently by the small breeze from her pace. |

Perceptive as ever, Mikhail has a glance at Xanadu and simultaneously hears the imposing words Rose directed to Lieutenant Colonel Wagner and chuckles a bit. Normally he would not have done that, but not having smoked for hours makes him somewhat anxious. He took several packs of cigarettes and now he can't have even one little cigarette for quite a while longer.
"An amateurish mistake there, Mikhail," he thinks after letting out that chuckle. |

Kaine watched as the last of the refugees was screened. Kaine watched as the quran-team zipped the body up "I want a blood sample of that refugee in lab with in ten minutes go" Kaine heard as the speakers bellowed out an alarm
"Warning warning radiation storm in bound all personnel must move to secure environments"
Kaine checked his watch "Micheal you better make sure that, that body is disposed of properly quran-team is part of Medsec after all and if they mess up and a virus get loose on this station I'll have your head, It could mutate with the latest strand god knows what will happen we haven't tested it on animals yet " |

"On it, Atticus. Quaran-team: double time to MedSec 7. NOW!"
The alarms buzzed as five men rushed out of the room and deeper into the base. Fuller yelled some orders to the guards stationed on the other side of the room. They nodded and ran after them.
Good, less guards for me to handle here Dolvich thought, he straightened his clothes and walked over to the guards, asking innocently for the procedure that is followed during the storms.
Rose checked if her comms were still working. A crude man with a german accent on answered.
"Sgt. Dürkham here."
"Sergeant, there's is a body bag heading for MedSec! Do NOT let it out of your sight or the shit will hit the fan!"
"Y-Yes sir!" the soldat stuttered.
Xanadu was just observing the rush, not exactly sure what was happening. The soldiers were called the few refugees that were still in the vessel and escorted them into the base hastily. The inside of the base was something you could only see in a 90s sci-fi movie. The walls were made of some strange metal alloy and it was easy to see where the metall plates connected. There were some neon lights on the ceiling, but the alarm lights that were placed between them were lit instead. After running behing a few corners, the female voice spoke from the speakers.
"Two minutes until the storm reaches the perimeter. Please follow the safety procedures as ordered by the station's operatives..."
There was a large panel hanging from the wall, and in the run she could only read MedSec. She didn't know what was it, but they came here to live, so it couldn't be anything evil. They reached a crossing and headed for the corridor with a "4" inscribed above. While pacing she cocked her head and saw some people rushing in a corridor named "7". She saw that man that was pointing some kind of device at her, that man with the glasses.
Fuller holstered a a small book and turned to see if everybody was going to their places. His eyes met Xanadu's for a moment and he was relieved. Everything is going as planned. The refugees are going to MedSec 4. I'll have to take care of them after the storm is over. They won't survive long without some nourishment.
He then jumped back to reality, turned to corridor 7 and sprinted after the quaran-team... |

Marissa followed the refugees onto the base. Her strides were long as brought up the rear of the pack with some of the other heads of departments. Everyone was eager to get to the safest places they could.
This was really a pain in the butt, if the ship was purely in Mari's hands, She would flown through the storm instead of making this pit stop. She placed her hands in her pockets and thought of what it would have been like if she stayed home where the war was.
She was snapped out of her thoughts quickly as she came to a halt. The group had stopped right in middle of the hallway. This surely wasn't their destination. She started to make her way to front of the pack, her hand resting on the gun in it's holster that was on her left hip. |

| When Ryan heard the alarm, he radioed his men, and told them where to go. Afterward, he walked briskly down the hallways until he reached his assigned station for events like this. The room he was in was equipped with extra radiation shielding, several security monitors, and a computer terminal, along with the standard emergency medical supplies common to such rooms. He began to watch the monitors. Relaxing, he began to scan the monitors for any unusual signs. |

Kaine walked quickly to his lab the heels of his shoes clicked on the cold concrete floor. Kaine entered quickly throwing on a mask and an apron. As he had ask sat on his lab bench was a vile of the mans blood. Kaine acted with haste sweeping up the vile of blood and the working vile of strand 42. Kaine turned out the lab discarding his apron on the floor as he did so, he jogged to the end of the corridor swiping his ID in the door it opened slowly with its automated whir. Kaine was in to much of a rush to wait for the door he slid through the slowly opening gap.
Kaine moved a picture that hang on the wall above his desk revealing a safe, punching the code in quickly it swung open. Kaine placed the Viles in a test tube rank among some others. The safe contained a test tube rank containing half a dozen viles with the latest editions, multiple brown envelopes labeled top secret, a old photograph and a very old looking Single Action Army revolver.
Kaine felt odd he knew it was only a radiation storm but he had a funny feeling about it grabbing the gun Kaine shoved it into the back of his trouser. He picked up the photo and locked at it, the scene depicted within was of a gentleman around Kaine's age and a younger woman holding a baby smiling, a small tear came to Kaine's eye which was soon wiped away. Kaine shoved the photo in his lab coat pocket and slammed the safe door Kaine pulled strongly at his top draw dislodging it from the desk and making it clatter loudly on the floor Kaine grabbed a few lose bullets that had scattered on the floor as the draw was broken from its home, as well as the bullets Kaine grabbed a brown envelope and ran out of the office quickly, taking a right and up the stairs.
"Storm approaching 30 seconds till lock down" Kaine reached the top of the third staircase as these words was uttered and sprinted as quickly as possible straight down the corridor Kaine reached a Set of glass doors Labled Med Sec 4 Kaine throw the doors open and jumped inside before leaning over doubled to hear the words "Lock down Engaged all doors locked" There was a loud click behind Kaine as the glass doors clicked in place.
Kaine stood upright composing himself adjusting his glasses, and brushing his hair from his eyes.Kaine walked across the room looking at the mob of refugee which were sat on the floor and various beds. Opening a small wooden door Kaine entered Michaels Office and took a chair slamming the envelope on the desk "Is every one here all the refugees and heads of departments, plus a few selected guards, because your the one whose going to be treating them for Radiation sickness if there not" |

All the refugees were directed to one large room filled with beds mattresses. Mikhail too was there, because he had no intention of getting radiated by the incoming storm. He was in no hurry, but waiting has never been his strong suit and lying down on a mattress hardly provides any excitement to his life. And worst of all, he still has not smoked a single cigarette for some 10 hours.
To kill some time he walks around the room checking security measures and observing people. For a second he stops in front of a camera, realizes that all the equipment here was very high class and he quietly curses in Russian, which Sergeant Anderson, who happened to be watching the screen finds interesting. "A Russian?" he thinks and wonders what on earth is Mikhail doing here. |

Quick Question - do we each write from our only our own perspective? THere seems to be some confusion...
Starshine bundled the three small children (all that was left of one of the other refugee settlements) towards a set of camp beds at the opposite end of the hall to where the 'offical' stuff was going down.
The small children were wide eyed taking in all the movement, lights and noises of the busy space station, and wandered in the direction she ushered them.
Grabbing up some of the supplies that were being offered around, Starshine followed her instincts and hid several packets under the cot. Giving them each something to eat before tucking them up under the blankets, she watched the frenzied scurry of the other adults present.
It never failed to amaze her how many people seemed to get excitable over drama. She settled beside the cot with her back against the wall, streching out her legs for what felt the first time in an age, she glanced up and found one other in a similar repose. |
