If they she be in big she was acting here to spy for king her father which her mother dress her a refugee to get in the vassle.

A smile came to Mikhail's face as she realized Rose's lack of experience. "Against all odds, this might turn out to be a worthwhile trip," he pondered and then answered Rose: "I am Mikhail, supposing you have read the files of all refugees who came here, you might have an idea about my expertise. Explosions usually are not something you want to have in facilities such as this and they usually cause a lot of damage, sometimes even to vital systems. Moreover, every complex with biochemical weapons should be in good enough a shape to prevent spontaneous explosions. You don't need an expert to tell that the bang we just heard was intentional, not an accident."

After stating his opinions Mikhails had another lungful of cigarette, paused for a second or two and continued: "Who is in charge of security around here?"

Alll of Rose's bravado crumbled. I'm done for... he knows the explosion was intentional...

She took a deep breath and attempted to get a grip. "I am in charge of security. I saw you tapping on the camera, damn it. So you think this is an inside job?" She played it stupid. Fake anger at the breach of HER security might mask it.

Mikhail naturally enjoyed the situation, he had no idea who set up the bomb, but it was worth playing along for now. He was here for action and this just might be his ticket to some good old shooting and doorkicking.

"I don't think the standard for Heads of Security are quite that low, darling," he continued casually knowing that if someone was in a high position at a place like this, she has to be more competent than that, "But I'll bite. Yes, I think it was an inside job, as you so eloquently put it. In my profession, I've had my fair share of explosions and I think I could help you find the one who is responsible. In addition, I have some information you might find valuable." Then Mikhail's smile became a bit more malicious and he grimly stated "But everything comes with a price tag, miss."

Hello said Miafa as she walked in the board room. She saw alot of people in uniform more then she saw the whole time she been on the vassel.

"Whoa Major, what happened to you?" one of Mari's subordinates asked.

"None of your damn business. Now give me a fucking status report right now," Marissa said harshly. She looked around. She saw the Head of Security, Rose. If that's what her name was. She was talking to one of the refugees.

Many of the refugees were getting calmed down by the men in Marissa's crew. She shivered slightly and remembered what Kaine said about a simple cold being lethal in a place like this. She looked at Jenkins who was standing right beside her.

"Give me your jacket," she told him. He did as she said. She needed her jacket. Jenkins' was a bit too tight on her. She just remembered that she left the drug in the inner pocket of her jacket.

She ran out of the room and into the hallways. She needed to find Kaine so she could get back in that room and get her jacket. The chatter on her comm device was all Jenkins' voice telling her to get her ass back to the refugees. She turned off her radio and kept running just hoping that she would run into Kaine again.

Kaine heard running behind him and turned to see Mari running towards hims " Forgot something didn't you?" Kaine said pulling the pen from his pocket he walked right up face to face with her placed his hands on her hip gently and kissed her a long passionate kiss before pulling away and slipping the pen in her trouser,back pocket while at same time squeezing her arse flirtingly

Rose's temper took the bait of the insult immediately. "Standards low, eh?" Her hand itched on her gun, which she had thankfully not forgotten in her office. "I'll have you know I graduated from West Point when I was sixteen, thank-you very little. I have led more missions into hostile enemy territory in the past eight years than you would know what to do with."

She relaxed herself a bit and closed her eyes, trying to remember the face and profile... Mikhail, Mikhail.... Mikhail Dolvich! Suspected of Russian Mafia involvement years back but cleared of all charges by Judge Trenadeau.

She opened her eyes, suddenly sharp and no longer playing games. This has just gotten deadly..... This guy was for sure involved in the Mafia... and now there's no looking back... I've done it.... "Your offer of assistance in identifying the person behind the explosion will not be needed. I have a whole team trained to handle things like this. But your offer of information, that intrigues me. But it depends on what kind of information you might have that would prove as you call it "valuable" to me." She gave him her best, deadly smile. "West Point? Impressive on American standards, I have to grant you that," Mikhail admitted and dumped his cigarette. "My information might, as you Americans say, save the day. But as I said, I don't offer free lunches, I want something in return. So how is it? Either you agree with my terms or then I'll just lean back and see your men failing fatally," Mikhail said confidently emphasizing the last word so that Rose simply could not miss it.

"Now don't get me started again. I told you I have a job to do and more than likely, so do you," Marissa said as she winked at Kaine. She turned around and walked away back towards the refugee area.

Rose knew what he was doing when he emphasized the word fatally. As she opened her mouth to respond, she saw Mari returning to the area and cursed inwardly.

"Fine, come with me." Rose led Mikhail out the back way of the area, using her security badge to open a corridor away from the eyes of the other heads of department. She leaned against the wall and looked at Mikhail evenly. "Name your price, Dolvich." She spat icily.

Kaine watched as she walked away mesmerized by her fine arse wiggling as he walked before he realized where he was going . Jogging slightly he caught up with her and drew parallel with her "fancy seeing you again" Kaine said jokingly "so where you off to?" Kaine mind suddenly flitted to work mode "Any idea what explosion was and where it was I hope its not my lab otherwise to put it as politely as possible we are fucked"

Miafa stood up and grabbed Mari's gun and she pointed the gun in the middle of her captives back. "No one move or she dies." said Mia

Russian followed Rose and gave a laugh while doing so "So you do know me? Anyway, I am going to give you a little discount here, usually our prices are higher. I simply want a piece of this action and a weapon. If you can afford, a cup of coffee would be a nice extra on top of that. How is it going to be, girl, you want help or are you going to trust your luck?

Mikhail was not sure if his gamble was worth it. He had told Rose he had information and the price he was asking, in spite of being low on his standars, was grim. Giving a weapon to an unknown ex-hitman just based on his word is not always the smartest thing to do. This might get him in to a lot of troubles, should Rose decide so, he would end up being tortured and possibly killed. He had just bet all of his chips to this hand and hoped community cards, factors out of his control, favoured him tonight.

"Bad move girlie," Marissa said as placed a hand on Kaine's hip. Her hand slid against hims body until she grabbed Kaine's gun. She turned around quickly and pressed the gun against the girl's head. She grabbed her gun and slid it over to Kaine.

She then pushed the girl into the wall. The guns was still pressed to her head.

"TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK YOU ARE DOING!" she yelled. Mari was pissed off now. "TELL ME EVERYTHING YOU KNOW!"

I know the russia is going to take over the vassel and kill all the american on board." said Miafa as she tried to get out of Mari's grip.

"Are you sure that's all you know?" Marissa asked, the gun still pointed at the girl's head. She looked the girl in the eyes. "I won't hurt you, but you need to get back to the refugee area. If you find anything else out, look for one of my crew members and tell them you need to use their comm device. My crew members are wearing the same uniform as I am."

Marissa handed Kaine his gun and she picked up her own. She smiled at the girl. She then looked at Kaine.

"Let's go. I'll help you figure out that explosion," she said.

A medical officer had come and taken the children away directly after the blast. Starshine didnt want to dwell on their possible destination and only hoped that the person was merciful.

People were scrambling everywhere, comms units were bleeping and refugees going manic.

She drifted towards the doctor the other one had called Michael.

Kaine walked along with Mari "What a load of bullshit the Russian don't have the ability for space fighters yet when I left earth we were only just developing our first, plus it sounded as if the explosion was integral to the facility not external and last of all this place is top secret only the highest ranking officials know about it" Kaine tucked his revolver back in the side of his trousers and tapped a guard on the back

"Theres a girl over there about 14 keep an eye on her she is a grade 2 Security risk make sure she don't she anything and make sure she doesn't spread propaganda about the Russians"

He continued walking with Mari moving close to her as they walked

Miafa hear what Kaine said to the guard. So she smiled nicely at the guard who was supposed to watch her like a hawk. She waited until the guard got busy with some other reguees in the room. Mia sneak out of the room. She started walk down a hallway she bumped in to Kaine.


"Hello." she said neverously to Kaine. As she try to walk past him.

Kaine continued walking with Mari for a while and stopped suddenly as he saw the girl trying to escape again "Hello" She said timidly to Kaine but he was having none of Drawing his revolver he pointed it in the face of the girl and clicked back the hammer

"As Director of this base I have Authority to Execute prisoner with out a trial, Theres no Geneva Convention out here, this is my base and you will obey my rules or face the consequences. Guards take her to the research cages" Kaine said thinking on his feet these were on this floor where they kept the animals for animal testing of the drugs and viruses they developed. Two guards with riffles slung over there shoulders walked up and grabbed the girl by either arms

"Take her away" Kaine said turning back to Mari

Mari shook her head as she watched the girl be led away. "Annoying little brat," she said softly so that only Kaine would hear it. She sighed and wrapped her arm around Kaine's and led him into a random hallway.

Mari looked around. "Kaine, that explosion sounded like it was below us. What's in the lower levels of this station?" she asked quietly.

Once the guards pushed Mia in a cage, she turn around. "I want to talk to your Director right now." she said to the guards as ahe sat on the cage floor. Mia was so mad. She fault like she was cage animal lock in vassel cage.

Kaine looked over his shoulder as she was taken away "You got that right" He felt her arm go around him and placed his around hers as they turned into the deserted corridor

"Floor below this is crew quarter floor below that is highly Classified I have a bad feeling it was there though, if it was the shits really going to hit the fan"

"Can't hurt to check it out can it?" Mari asked him. "I mean if there is the possibility of danger, we all need to be careful."

She looked at Kaine with a slightly worried look on her face. She looked as if she was going to say something to him but sighed.

"It could be very dangerous, you have no Idea how dangerous thinking bout it take your anti-viral now" Kaine puled his own out taking the lid of what looked like the normal pen to show a small needle Kaine took his and stabbed it into the neck and pressed the button on top of pen and the shot was released into his blood stream.

"I would take your too if i was you as after the explosion there may be an increased risk thats all i can say, if you wanna come check it out with me we will need Hazmat suits"

"Of course I'm coming with you. What did think I was going to do? Go and wonder about you as I'm sitting in a room full of refugees? Hell no," Mari said. The worried look disappeared from her face and was replaced by a serious look. "Listen, those refugees are my responsibility. If anything happens to at least one of them, I lose my job. And my job is the only thing I have left."

Kaine lent in and kissed her passionately then took her hand "nothing will happen come on" he walked quickly holding her hand till they reached the end of the corridor a dark green door labeled Emergency Equipment was there pulling a sheet of paper from his pocket Kaine punched the code in that was on it and swiped his card the light flash green and he opened the door.

Inside was a room on the walls were a variety of webbing vest at the end of a room was a cage that contained weapons. The standard issue rifle for the base was an SA80, a P90 or an MP5.

Kaine unlocked the gun cabinet and took an SA80 and handed it to Mari "Cant take any risk and dont forget your shot" Kaine said referring to the injection .

Kaine quickly through on one of the Hazmat suits and a webbing vest he clipped it around his chest and changed his radio to from a hand held one to one that clipped to his vest and featured an ear piece. Emptying his jacket pockets of the remaining 5 anti Viral pens and the sheet of override codes.

He clipped a P90 to his Assault vest and placed a 9mm hand gun into the provided holster. "You need a hand" Kaine offered he was greatly experienced at putting Hazmats on just not so experienced at fire arms, he held his helmet under his arm and waited

Marissa agve herself the injection. "Nah, I think I got this," she said as she started to get all of the equipment on.

A few minutes later, Mari looked at Kaine. "Ok, I think I got this right," she said.

Kaine walked around her checking for any places of possible breach then stopped in front of her smiled and nodded "Damn how the hell do you make I bright orange hazmat suit look so good" he laughed slightly and then kissed her " Yeah thats fine lets get going shall we?"

Kaine stepped towards the door and offered his hand to her he pressed the button on his radio and spoke into the microphone which was attached to the ear piece and ran down his cheek. "Atticus to Rose, Atticus to Rose am going to preform a preliminary scan of area of explosion,come in Rose"

"Oh forget about protocol and let's go. If she needs you, she'll contact you. Let's hurry up and get this over with. I am sweating like a pig in this suit," Marissa said. She was starting to get impatient again.

Lets go Kaine held her hand as they walked to stop of stairs. "Masks on" Kaine placed his on and watched as Mari did same.

Kaine walked down the first set of stairs then reached the second it was darker down here."Damn lights are gone" Kaine pulled a torch from his webbing vest and drew his 9 MM pistol he held the torch on top of the barrel and pointed gun down corridor

"Careful now I don't want you getting hurt, not like you would" he joked
