Author's Note: As some will have noticed, my SGs tend to die. Quite quick. I've never been a good SGer/DP maker... But I am a good writer. So, I'm attempting to make a good linear story. May thee enjoy this Sneak Peek! (Prologue is coming)

Sneak Peek:

... and he watched the sunset, marvelling at how it had all come to pass. He had gone from a teen noble, to an accomplished, and admittedly, a very powerful Archmage. It had all begun that fateful night... Yes, it had all begun... His thoughts went on-and-on, and he came to think of things which he had not thought of since their fateful happenings. His aimless wanderings among the villages of the north, far from home. His explorations of things long forgotten, and creation of things which should not have been. And he came to think of his former companions. Fools, they had been. Warriors, thieves, a sorcerer or two, yet no one had possessed the noble blood which Arothas had, nor his intellect. Strong, fast, sometimes dextrous, but none, no, no one, had possessed more than rufimentary intellect. Arothas corrected himself at those thoughts - somehow, one or two had been intelligent. And somehow, others had become intelligent. How the latter occured, the wizard could not know. Nor could he understand. Well, technically, he could. He suspected they had run into some kind of artifact. No matter. He was beyond their petty power and 'skill' now.

"And so, in the end of Ages, the Empire of Isalmiri shaleth be reborn..." Arothas muttered for himself. An ancient prophecy, passed down in the family, from father to son, in almost three millennia. All the way to Arothas the First*, (and only) Emperor of Isalmir (Ilsalmiri being an incredibly formal and archaic name). All this time, since Arothas the First's dissappearance about two-and-a-half millennia ago**, the so-called Falcon Lords, had been trying been working in secret to bring about Isalmir once again... None had succeeded. None had fullfilled even a part of this Prophecy, the Prophecy of the Falcon. Not even Arothas Itellon, the Fourth, Lord of the Falcon Keep, and heir of the Falcon Lord legacy. No! He would fullfill the Prophecy. He had been working towards it since his twenty-seventh birthday, the day that he became a wizard, and not an apprentice... He touched the Arcane Flow, and let it fullfill him, rejoicing in it's pure power, as well as the veil of shadow at it's edge, Necrotic Power, from the plane of Darkness. He smacked his Staff into the ground, and put away his Sword.

"And so it shaleth begin, in blood and darkness, shadow, and light, honour, and deceit..." Arothas muttered for himself, before setting off once again. He was hunted. He could hear the hooves even from this distance. He ran. He ran, with the Staff crushing into the ground with every step, crushing wood and stones alike. He ran.

It looks interesting... still, "shaleth"? *snickers*

Otherwise, a lovely start! I really look forward to hearing the Tale of the journey of this mighty wizard, although you may want to think about fixing up your paragraphing a little. Five or six lines is very readable, although I go for three to four.

Heh, thanks, both of yeh...

Oh well, Crossfire, I am a little unfamiliar with archaic english ;)

Just remember, it's a part of a later chapter. A part of. Real chapters are going to be much longer... And so will the prologue, which I am currently working on.

Serious writing has begun on the prologue.

Also, the link in the profile has been fixed.

I'll also edit in another sneak peak (of the Prologue) into this post, soon.
