I think we had a thread like this some time ago but it must've died down. I found it much fun so I'm starting it again! Woot!

Here's how it goes:

Someone posts a question beginning with the statement 'Would you rather' and the next poster picks one choice out of the ones given.. and it is much more fun if you say why guys, but you don't have to. Just makes it funny. Then the answering person also MUST post another 'Would you rather' question. If you don't have a new statement, then don't post.

Here's the first one.

Would you rather.....

slide naked down a fireman's pole covered with tacks into a pool of scotch

cheese-grate the skin off your left forearm?

There are a bunch of variables unaddressed here, such as how long I'll actually live, and how painful the exectution is, but I'd have to pick immediate execution. I hate boredom.

or...

spend the afterlife eternally in a fluffy white space with nothing to do except play harps and tic-tac-toe (also known as heaven).

Bear. If Mikey's accessories are in a shape similar to that of his face, I'd be soon headed to the ER anyway for some emergency aid. At least the bear looks like he (or she?) could probably function sans turkey baster.

Well, I'm generally all for not breaking trust... but gambling debts quite often seem to lead to broken legs, usually by some badly nicknamed dude with an authority complex so..

I'd go with the tabloid (although I may have tried begging $$ from the ex first, and possibly give them a heads up).

Minor surgery. Who'd want to lose a limb? That's horrible. I'd rather suffer once than suffer throughout the rest of my life, and all for the sake of comodity.

Hmm. I don't know what Yo Gabba Gabba is, so I'd have to pick that one. The burning baby-head-sun of TeleTubby land freaks me out.

I don't have a best friend of the opposite sex, but I'd take the ugly thing. At least I wouldn't lose a friend/ be sexually ambivalent with her for the rest of my life. Although, of course, if I liked my friend, she could become my girlfriend. Anyway, I'll stick with the second option-

Fade away, I think. I like the idea of a firey burnout.. but I've seen too many in the town where I grew up. I think I'd like to burn brightly, have my say, and then sort of drift into a happy life out of the limelight somewhere.

Stranded in the woods. I think it would be nice to get close to nature, and sort of see what I'm made of.

although, I'd pick late spring or early fall, as opposed to the middle of summer or winter.

Participate in a Japanese Gameshow... no matter WHAT you may have to do/eat/wear/go/kill

OR

Commentate a golf match, between really boring, crappy, old golfers... AND keep your voice monotone the entire time, but NOT fall asleep, not even once.. not even for a little tiny bit.
