It's that time of the month again - nominations are now being accepted for Storygame of the Month for June.
To nominate a story, post the author and the storygame in question. A link is preferable.
Please Read before Nominating
You must have played in the story game you are chosing to nominate, and have voted in at least one poll.
Please do not come from another site and nominate a friend's story without playing it. If you register and vote please read multiple stories before selecting one, purely based on friendship.
This is not a popularity contest or a 'thank you for helping me' vote. This is a serious contest about the quality of the stories written. The winner gets their own forum and their work may be used to represent the city to all first time visitors. But they are also expected to produce one chapter a month, and pay rent for their SGotM forum.
Storygames eligible for nomination must have a minimum of two chapters and be in one of the following categories:
The Fantasy Forest
Skiffiville
General Fiction and Experimental.
You can only nominate OR second one story per month, and you cannot nominate your own storygame.
If the author declines to participate, your nomination is still used.
Please note that if you have more than one identity on IF, or if you share a computer with another member of the site, it is compulsary to inform the Mayor. Please view this thread for further details. You may only nominate with one identity, and you cannot nominate your own storygame using a different identity.
Attention Authors!
To go through to the voting stage, your storygame must have received two nominations, and you must have accepted.
Winning a storygame of the month is a prestigious honour, and by accepting you are committing to:
- Keeping your Storygame active - either one chapter a month or running activities related to playing your storygame.
- Paying 100 fables per month for the rent of your SGOTM forum.
Please consider very carefully whether you can keep these commitments before accepting.
