Just a quick post to say that I will be away for a couple of weeks beginning tomorrow, so will miss the end of the election. :( I will, however, be able to look in occasionally during that time, even if I can't participate.
As the outgoing mayor, I'd just like to say that you've both been great candidates. I am not alone in being of the opinion that whoever wins this election, the day-to-day running of these forums will be in safe hands.
Thanks everyone for your support and participation in this site over the past six months. It has been an honour and a pleasure being Mayor. :)
Good luck to the successor!

Thanks to all who voted me in! And, Pope, you've been a great running challenger. Much enjoyed our debates. We'll have to discuss your new role as a High Lord Chancellor soon ;)
To all IFians... my hope is to usher in a new era of vastly diversifying activities. Hopefully, we can widen our audience a bit while maintaining a strong focus on storygames. Your feedback is always useful as well.
So yeah, this town is about to get some overhauling... watch for the changes to come! |

Anyway, you really flattend me in that election, and I'd have to say rightly so...I mean, even people who havn't been around for YEARS came back JUST to vote for you. That in and of itself gives me great confidence in your compitence as a leader. As well as some personal knowledge. *Grin*
