How about using a text wrap with pictures? Is it possible? |

You can place the text inline with your image using the left or right command.
Code: [img=left]http://www.yourwebpage.com/images/title.gif[/img]
This code places the image to the left of the text.
Code: [img=right]http://www.yourwebpage.com/images/title.gif[/img]
And of course this code places images to the right of your text. Otherwise, with just the [img ] command, the picture will appear either above or below the text. |

I'm not sure if the images have a size limit. The larger images look cluttered on the forums, as do too many images. |

When you edit your profile you can add a link following the linking instructions above, or Smee's wonderfully detailed instructions on the linking topic in this IFTI forum. |

Okay, I was thinking of adding a couple of pics to Narg, but it seems to do that I have to link to an external website, which again i can do, but any site i have would be rather transient, and hence likely to dissapear.
Is there anywhere on IF I could store an image to link to? |

I've updated the first post on this thread. If anyone has any questions or suggestions about what needs to be discussed in the IFTI, feel free to PM me or post here. :) |

There is also Imageshack for image hosting.
I noticed it doesnt work here but another BBCode tag is
Code: [hr]
Which should put a horizontal rule across the page. |

You can use the album as well. However, there is a bug.
If you use the Code: [IMG] command on it's own, it won't work for some reason. However, if you use the Code: [img=left] or Code: [img=right] command it will work!
I don't know if anyone can look at this? |

Code: [url=www.website.com][img]www.picture-location.com[/img][/url]
But you should keep in mind that a lot of the time people don't expect pictures to be links in IF so they don't ever click on them. |

I do, probably because I do it myself a lot!
You should always check for that little hand pointer! Try it on my signature. ;) |
