I would ask him to help you gain safe passage to the Serpent Witches, or failing that to have him help you unite the Scarpi under your control...not an army exactly but at least get them away from each other's throats.

Also it might not be a bad idea if you talk to Aquila and his eagles...you do owe them a debt after all...

Wow - what a chapter. Very Happy

Things finally take a turn for the better and we have success.

A great piece of writing describing the God's escape and then his Syllogi abilities. Smile

But what to ask?

We've already got more than we set out for. We know we are a Maker, we have found the Watchmaker.

Have we learnt enough of the steward's laws to make us rally strength against him? If so then a Scarpi army wouldn't be bad.

I don't think we need worry about the Serpent Witches anymore. We have our proof that we are a maker without them.

Ask him of the Makers, and why none have ruled for so long - find out what it means to be a maker and how we could have been born of the Zigots.

Happy Writing Smile

Fantastic chapter. I can barely believe something went right for Pilla at last Shocked Wink

Now, we can ask anything? Well, my first thoughts were questions based on our purpose and our history. Now, though, I'm not so sure. I'm wondering whether we already know enough about ourselves and our purpose.

The questions about the Zigots and how they can have made a Maker are good in principle, but I don't think Prometheus would know much about that. He admitted as much earlier, and 2000 years of being chained up and tortured will leave him with no real knowledge but ancient history.

Now that she knows of the Emperor's rule and his views toward Makers though, I think she needs to focus on working againss the threat he poses.

Perhaps ask for his help in uniting the Scarpi people and the Zigots against the Emperor?

I'll come back later with more thoughts - if I have any Very Happy

Wow, that's what a God should be like eh?

I think Proemetheus is just the right person(God) to fill Pilla in on the makers.

Wow...

awesome...

loved the description of his liguistics (actually, I loved the whole chapter, but that was a particularly good bit)...

One buring question that he WILL know springs to mind.

Why did he create the Zigots?

After all it got him chained to a rock - it would be nice to know what his reasons were.

Satisfying to meet and aid a god...your creator. Smile

F5 Stubby regarding the question to ask first- Why did the Watchmaker create the Zigots?

Why?

What does he know about the Makers, Why create the Zigots, Why am I here?

I expect she'd be awestruck by his power, so much so that her questions aren't at first the most sensible ones. Maybe how did you get defeated?

Glad that Pilla had success this time around.

F5 Shady. We need to do something about the Emperor, and his threat to the Makers.

I think that asking about the Makers is a good idea. Pilla has no idea about her responsabilities, her limits, and the Watchmaker knows all this. Perhaps we knows a way to find and bring all the Makers to him. Then we can see how few we actualy are.

That could mean that the story is almost over and he's wrapping up.

I don't think that it means that though.

Well obviously you do think that it means that, since you suggested the possiblity.

F5 most of the questions that have been proposed, but we should also be asking why he was punished for the creation of the Zigots. He'll probably have a different take on the situation than what has been explained so far.

Furthermore, Pilla should inquire as to the nature of the serpent witches. The basic line of questioning should be to get to the bottom of the plot between the gods, the emperor, the makers, and the serpents. There is something much bigger than Pilla at work here, and her recent action in releasing Prometheus will greatly alter the course of history no doubt. Getting an idea of how it will should be very important.

Also... how do we avoid the return of the Eagle King? Where should we go, what should we do, what will Prometheus do now that he is freed? She should turn to him and serve him now as his knowledge and wisdom likely far exceed her own. Sure she is a maker and can alter the course of things greatly and for this reason, he may seek her guidance as well. But if she is to give any guidance, she should do so as illuminated as possible and seek to understand all angles before chosing to act.

If I may take a guess as to where the wheel is headed... a war between all the new makers? Are these first stories just determining which forces they align themselves with? Seems once the "White Queen" protagonist had determined which forces she had fully aligned with, the story ended and moved on. Seems it will be the same with this storyline as well...

I think a simple "What's going on?" would suffice to start with.

OK, I'm not going to post a poll since none of these options are mutually exclusive. I'll just try to work in as much as possible. Keep posting if you have any other suggestions for what to say.

I wonder at all is how do we get back to the Eagle King? Pilla traveled here on eagle, is she going to ask Prometheus to allow her to ride on his head or something?

Who me? Wink

Just thinking a loud thats all. Now that I ponder it further, Prometheus can't take us back, I think the eagles' nests are on a higher level than Prometheus' height. That was probably the purpose though.
