OK - after a fairly annoying lunchtime messing around with this I thought I'd post the conclusions I found.

The general proceedure for sending a PM to more than one person is...

Code:

smee;chinaren

(note: there is no space after the semi-colon)

However, if the name has two words - like Shady Stoat Wink

then you need to do...

Code:

smee;Shady Stoat;

i.e You have to include a semi-colon at the end as well.

You're probably just spelling a name wrong. I use it quite a lot, and it works for me.

btw, this must be one of the oldest threads still around, 'cos I got a notification about it. I turned that off years ago! Shocked

Yeah, multiple messaging always works for me. If you're having problems, try using the 'find a username' button for each person - it automatically inserts the ; in the right place between each one.

I just tried that, using the find username. I tried sending one to Nene and Lordy and I got this:

Sorry, but no such user exists. 'NeverNeverGirl

Note the little quote mark in front of Ne's name - I didn't put that there.

Hmm - very strange. I just tried it - using the same people - and got the same problem, apparently Ne doesn't exist. I then tried sending it to you and me and it worked like normal.

Trust Ne to ruin everything Razz
