This area is for competitions. As IF is a writing site, these comps should be writing competitions! However, if someone comes up with something else, I'll judge it on its merits.
I will pursue my usual ruthless moderating methods in this Arena. If a competition looks like it has died, and there has been no entries, I will remove it with little or no warning.
If a competition has closed, I will allow a certain amount of time for people to post comments, and then lock the thread, keeping it for posterity.
If you start a competition, please keep an eye on it, and close it after a certain length of time.
I may remove long closed competitions at some time, depending how things go.
Please keep any comments on topic in this forum. Comments I consider overlly obvious spam will be deleted.
The City Treasury can make Fable prizes available, and Chinaren Hall can also make medals available for certain competitions. Again, these will be judged on their merits. Please apply to the mayor/me for Fable/Award requests.
