The polls are closed, and the results are in!

Before we proceed I would like to thank everybody who worked on and participated in the IFYs this year.

To DeadManWalking, Phantomfan and Smee for holding the April round of nominations in their respective Genre forums, to Scissorkitty for drumming up the interest for the event through the IFQuirer, to everyone who took the time to nominate for each of the categories, and to those Authors who kindly submitted excerpts from their Storygames.

And of course, to everybody who turned out and voted.

Special recognition for this event goes to Alegria, for leading the project from the start back in March this year - planning the categories, organising the graphics and the first round nominations, and preparing everything for the final vote.

Due to RL commitments Alegria couldn't be around to finish the event, and a hiatus from many regular members meant that the event was delayed until this month. Thanks, Leggy for all your work.

...And on to the results!

Erm...

Much as i would love to have my name on a shiny plaque, Bram Ota is, sadly, not my character.

It's Jack D. Mented's and it's from Fraternity of Bastards.

Congrats everyone! I shall just have to read up on all of those ones which I have, for various reasons, neglected.
