The Boy who cried "Sheep"
Start roasting sheep
You put a fire on, and the villagers eat, and the smell of roast mutton attracts a pack of the meanest wolves. Fortunately, they can't tell that the wolf in sheep's clothing is a wolf, and so they tear it apart and go home well-fed.
Your flock of sheep are safe, except for all the ones you ate.
