Move over! Linear’s in the House
After a heated debate, which included a rare bit of work from his majesty, Kingky, the Council has decided to expand the Linear district. Further details will be announced soon, but already hundreds of OFian slaves have been moved into place to start building work.
Watch out! Linear is on the move!
Sizzling IF!
It’s official! IF is sizzling! Recent activity statistics, acquired through the IFART* show that activity in the city is at record levels! The boulevards are bustling, IFians swarm along the streets, and people are er, rolling along the roads.
The Mayor expressed great satisfaction with the situation, and thanked all IFians’ for their contribution to the city. Long may it prosper!

Muaddib District welcomes their Leader back from THE!
In a triumphant return from the Desert city of THE, our very own Red leader, Muaddib, or Muddy as he likes to be called, was seen gracing the streets of IF. He quickly headed down to the Muaddib district, where he extracted payment from the working girls there.
The district has seen a slump since the passing of Smee, and is badly in need of further custom.
The IQ welcomes Muddy back, and hopes he will stick around.

The latest in a long line of sizzling auctions is going on in the Marketplace now! The item this time is a signed copy of The Lions’ Word, by our very own King! Get down there and place your Fatbacks on the line!
Fable madness seizes the City!
As well as the latest Auction, citizens have been throwing wads of cash at Chinaren in the latest version of his famous Greed tale! Along with this, Zephyr has recently been catapulted into the Rich List, by his award winning SGame Superhuman. and others are now taking up the mantle.
The Mayor said of this trend:
“Why not? It adds an extra layer of fun to the SGames, as well as getting Fable transactions moving.”
Rumors of Secret Council Sessions.
Rumors have reached the ears of this newsrag of heavy council sessions regarding the security of the city. When asked by the IQ the Council members merely said they were discussing ways to stop certain members of IF gratuitously spamming, and that such action would be met with the full force of the law, even if they had to make the law up to do it.
The IQ failed to get further comment.

Latest Council Member Greeted!
The IQ extends its congratulations to Rune, who is the latest IFian to join the council. Rune was offered the position as co-mod for his tireless campaigning for a revised Linear section. Sounds of the tough Council ‘initiation’ could be heard near the chambers late last night.

The Head Eaters review board welcomed their latest vitci…er, member recently. NeverNeverGirl has joined this nefarious group, and will be assisting them with their enquiries.

In a close race, To Pass a Torch landed SG of the month for July 2007, narrowly holding off Rise of Shadows and Death of an Age. August nominations are underway and can be found in the city auditorium.
Top Favorites!
Chianren’s Tired of Death remains at number one with 24 Faves, an increase of four. Lords & Ladies has dropped from number two spot into nowhere, and has been replaced by the excellent SGame that has made Zephyr rich: Superhuman, with 13 Faves.
Euqual third, with 11 Faves each is Avarice, knocked off the 2 spot by Superhuman, and CrunchyFrogs’ ever popular Magicians’ touch
Finally, with her first venture into the top 5, NeverNeverGirls’ Barry the Normal is a highly worthy read!

In a very heated debate of what site improvements should be made. The linears got a bit of notoriety in the topics that were entertained. Everything from awarding fables to the stories to even making their own front page forum were entertained at the improvement debate
