Only problem is the copyright. Who gets the copyright- Chinaren, or X? If China only wrote the first chapter, but the whole story is based around that chapter, could Chinaren somehow claim plagiarism?
I mean, not that it would ever happen, but it could.

Chinaren INC is not a real legal organization. Fables aren't real currency. What if whoever you wrote the chapter for publishes it as a book? Wouldn't he be scared that you could sue him/her?
It's just that the legality and copyright issues here are somewhat unclear.
But whatever... I should mind my own business.

It's negotiable, depending upon the story, the chapter length wanted/written, how much work I have to do to write it.
I won't be subcontracting.
Some payment would be up-front, the other will be post-chapter, and if you don't like it, you won't have to pay the remainder, though if that is the case the chapter remains mine of course.
