Ok so, you all got my Speech PM, but this is the first outright announcement I think I've made.
As a Mayor(ess), I will of course need help with bringing this place back, and enriching the experience to keep the growth going. That's what the council is for, and I'd love to just convene the council and do normal mayoral discussion duties....but the Council is normally made up of mods.
Most of our mods are currently away, along with the majority of our citizens. I think in politics, this is where I open up applications for mod positions, but since we've had a small but steady stream of people either coming back and joining up, I've decided that I will give them some time to get the news and get their collective butts on over here. (Besides, I have a hard time imagining anyone but Biz as a horror mod.)
Therefore, I will handle governance by myself (mostly) for now, and on October 18th, I will begin my search for people to replace those who currently hold Mod titles.

I apologise for being away and not performing my Mod duties for so long. I'm back now, so I'm happy to do this again. But I'm happy letting someone else take over, too, if that's preferred. Either way I'm back.

I have also returned (good on Biz for kicking my butt into gear) and I come bearing a multitude of apologies for how much I've been slacking. I have to say, it's good to be back. Like Sagi has said, I will step down from my position and let someone else take the reigns if it is the most beneficial to If. I will be happy to support the rebuilding of the site, whether as a mod or normal citizen :3

Just a reminder: the deadline for mod activity to return is October 18th which isn't all that far away! I'm very glad to see that most of our staff has come back and remained active!  This is still in effect though. XP
