What's all this about then?

This thread is the bidding thread for the Storygame of the same name (Good vs Evil vs Money) that can be found in the FANTASY section. I started it because I am very poor and need more Fables to buy food for the starving children that Key turns out onto the streets. Ahem.

If you don't know about FABLES then I suggest you read the money thread at the top of this forum.

Here you can bid to be a character (or a thing even) in the game, or you can bid for SOMEONE ELSE to be a character or thing in the game.

If someone else bids to be someone/thing, you can bid higher to change his/her specification.

Private bids (a PM to me) will be considered, but I would prefer them to be in this thread.

Finally, any bids on anything else (plot twists etc) will also be considered. I reserve the right to refuse ideas or change anything I like without notice. Wink

Any characters that win a bid will be inserted (sometimes painfully) into the story at the earliest opportunity. However, on occasion this may take a little while if a suitable plot entrance point doesn't become available.

Thank you for listening. Very Happy

Chinaren. Chairman and President of Chinaren Enterprises. Fleecing the poor to give to me.

I just realised that every post earns 10 fables, so by bidding you actually make a profit (upt to 10 anyway).

3 Fables to Duke Reg sat in the front there. Any advance on 3 fables? Do I hear 5 fables?

I'll give you a hundred Fables if you make me the tasteful comic relief or lovable-oaf sidekick! (But only if you promise to do it properly.) Razz Razz

Edit: Oh, and anyone with that amount of money to waste has to be a Duke in the story as well. Please? Perty pleeze?

#17: Tastefull Author: ChinarenLocation: https://www.NeilHartleyBooks.com PostPosted: Sun Oct 30, 2005 12:12 am

That strikes me as a good deal!

I don't think I can stoop to 'tasteful', but I can do lovable Oaf alright! And a Duke to boot.

Sidekick character:
Sold to m'lord Duke sat in the big chair at the front! Congratulations m'lord Duke. Character will be delivered upon payment! Smile

Still available:
Evil, evil villain (this gotta be big bucks!)
Hero (currently under the hammer)
Other suggestions entertained.

Fear not Duke, I have a small piece of paper here with a scribbled note that I have put... er where did I put that thing?

Now then. I see no reason why I can't open bids for the villain now.

Do I hear an opening bid for the Villain character?

For the Hero character...

The bidding stands at 15F to EvilHomer. Going once....
