Okay lads and lasses the first round of Ifys is closing on the 25th November and the second is beginning.. well now...

Heres how it works.

We will be having several Ify categories and you nom/second and then we move to a vote later.

Nomination period lasts 10 days only!

*Ne blows a kiss to All and the lights dim to reveal the Chinaren dancers doing a conga line of terror^*

^so called because they are terrible to look at and terrible dancers...

This is very confusing. What was the first round of nominations for? And what are those 'Best Antagonist' etc things- Is that the second round?

Yes D - this is the second round of categories - best antagonist, best fight scene, best character, best plot etc.

The first round was the main IFy noms - HEM, SKIFF, LINEAR, FANTASY.... the winners of these get put forward for the Golden IFy.

THe rest of the awards are stand alones.. sorry if that wasnt too clear..

Nominations for the second round IFY's are now CLOSED!

Voting for best HEM and best Fantasy are CLOSED!

Noms are being checked now - there are a couple of instances where only two candidates have received nominations and only one of those has received a second.

In these cases both will go to the votes to provide a bit of competition.

OK I've just taken a quick peek at how the polls are going and there is at least one tie situation at the moment. With just over 24 hours to go, hurry up and vote!

The Award Ceremony will be on Monday - in case we need an extra couple of days to run tie breakers.
