The following voting choices have been created from suggestions to the previous chapter (click the previous chapter link to read the chapter and comments). Here is a little more detail about what they mean:

1) Lead your people to the Great Sea to contact the merfolk. Pretend to attack the city if possible to buy yourself time for the journey.

2) Split your forces up. Remain in the mountains with the bulk of your army, but send smaller war parties to give false information to the Bullroars, to scout out the city defenses, and to contact the merfolk.

3) Attack the Bullroar city. Use deception to conceal the timing of your attack, then dig tunnels to get inside the city.

This poll will be up for about a week. At the end of that time, the choice that has the most votes will become the basis for chapter 3.

Anyone is welcome to vote, although you must be registered and logged in. You can only vote on each poll once. Feel free to discuss the choices or try to sway people to vote one way or the other.

I think you should split up your forces. Then you have an even chance of getting supplies and equipment. From my perspective, if you're able to persuade the merfolk for their assistance, they would most likely give Lodevar not only an ally, but a source for food and arms. But also if he is able to take the Bullroar city, he would also gain food and arms. Lodevar shouldn't trust on one idea in hopes to win, he needs to take both chances and go to it. His chances for victory is also higher.

To devide is to be concered the army is to small to take the town with half it's army going to the sea so I say the entier army should go to the merfolk and see what we can about allies

I hate going along with the majority, but I guess that I'll have to do it this time. It's the only sensible choice.

ok but what if the mer people arent there then will all of our hope be lost and how do you contact those who could be miles and miles away. If you see a bunch a sheephead carrying weapons coming torwards you they might swim away being scared. So the only solution that would seem logical would be only send 2 leaders like yourself and the profet. but what if the mer people arent to fight in the sheepheads war and want peacful times. You cant easily change someones mind by words so if all fails take them to Crisos Duros that place with all the dead sheepheads and show the disaster of bullroars. of course that might not work and from then on it is up to keveany to make it all interesting!!!

Good point about the merpeople not being at their respective homes. But that most mean that Lodeavar and his people will have to cross their fingers, if they have them anyways, and hope for the best when they get there.

Hi everyone,

I was hoping to have the new chapter up this weekend, but it looks like it I won't have time to write it until next weekend. The voting will be active until then.

Thanks,
Mark
