I'd be tone deaf. I am, according to a friend. I personally wouldn't know!

Laser tag with lasers. Wireless bungee jumping is basically like jumping off a cliff, & I'd prefer to have fun and die than commit suicide.

Would you rather have control of:
All air
or
All heat? Smile

All air. Cause wouldn't I be able to control the heat of the air too?

Would you rather

Suffer from octophobia (fear of the number 8)
OR
Arachibutyrophobia (the fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth)

AND yes, they are real phobias - I looked them up Laughing ! Also, they are completely random, I just chose the ones that I thought were the most bizarre.

The peanut butter one. The number 8 appears far more regualrly in my life.

Rather than answering Korn's post or waiting for Lady to come up with a reply, I think I'll just continue this...

Would you rather...

Stab yourself with a knife in both legs (somehow) by accident, but live through the accident with only people very close to you finding out.

Or

Stab yourself with a knife in one leg (You choose) by accident, but it is filmed and soon spreads via the internet. Everyone sees your mistake.

#89:  Author: scissorkittyLocation: Escaping the Hair Lair PostPosted: Wed May 06, 2009 4:38 am

Hmm. I don't want to be stabbed at all, really.. but option 2 gives me a chance to get on Ellen, so that's what I'll do.

Razz

Would you rather unknowingly eat yucky mold on food, and then find out? OR KNOWINGLY have to eat the mold, having no other source of nutrients?

#90:  Author: The White Blacksmith PostPosted: Wed May 06, 2009 12:34 pm
    —
Unknowingly eat the mould. I'm fairly sure I've done that before.

Would you rather...

Live to an old age but have a crippling disease...

Or

Die while middle-aged in an accident?

#91:  Author: The Meaning Of FearLocation: In a deep, dark corner of the universe, plotting. PostPosted: Wed May 06, 2009 11:19 pm
    —
I'd die while middle aged. Not too sure why, but I figure that I'd probably achieve all I want to achieve by then.

That is, of course, if I don't find something more to want to do later on.

Would you rather...

Be made to smash down a solid concrete wall with a screwdriver.

Or

Have someone smash down a wall of your house.

(couldn't be bothered to read whole thread though, so hope this hasn't been thought of already)

Live your life in celibacy waiting for your one true love

or

deny your emotions and run around with who ever would have you, suffering great emotional distress because of it?

#94:  Author: ScheherazadeLocation: Land of Rain and More Rain (but really southwestern BC, in Canada) PostPosted: Sun May 17, 2009 7:28 am
    —
It would definitely be celibacy for me. Why go through all that emotional distress? Besides, by the time you find someone you'd really like to be with, you'd likely be so messed up by aforementioned distress that you'd screw it up.

Would you rather become a dog (or or similar creature - wolf, fox, etc) for a day

or

become a cat (or similar creature - tiger, panther, lion, etc) for a day?

#95:  Author: The White Blacksmith PostPosted: Sun May 17, 2009 8:16 am

Dog, or a fox. I'm not a dog person more than a cat person - love 'em both - but if there was a lion wandering around my village people would think they had gone mad. At least people are used to seeing dogs and foxes.

Since whitey obviously doesn't have the IQ to continue the rest of the post, I shall take over...

Would you rather...

Live out most of your life ordinarily but then write a great book (Like The Power of One!) and become famous for it, amongst other things.

Write a whole lot of pretty good books throughout your life, but never really become one of the "Greats".

#97:  Author: zaharkLocation: Playing with weapons, specifically swords PostPosted: Fri May 22, 2009 6:14 am

id reather write one really successful book

would you rather

1. roll down a hill in a garbage can

2.steal a moped for a day

#98:  Author: The White Blacksmith PostPosted: Sun May 24, 2009 3:54 am

Roll down a hill. I could pad it, so it would be quite comfortable. And if I stole a moped I would probably crash and then go to prison.

Have an outdoor swimming pool that can only be used in the summer...

Have an outdoor ball pit (like the ones in play areas only bigger and deeper) that you can use all year long?

#99:  Author: zaharkLocation: Playing with weapons, specifically swords PostPosted: Fri Jul 17, 2009 4:45 am

swimming pool, definitely

ive always found ball pits to be extremely annoying its almost impossible to stand back up in them or get out.

hmm...

live an emotionless life, but be extremely reasonable and smart because you don't have emotions to cloud your judgement.

or

be a very overly emotional person who often cant think straight because of the lack of judgement and single mindedness they cause.

I'd rather have a SHIFT/Caps Lock key on my keyboard Laughing .

Okay, random moment over.

I'd be the latter, Zahark, but I'd have to say that both your options sound... stupid, for want of a better word. Personally I'd avoid both, seeing as how I'd be terribly sad if I had no emotions (ha ha) and life would be terribly confusing if I was crazy.

So, my one. Would you rather:

-Spend all or most of your pocket money, as soon as you get it, on something pretty cool and interesting, then have to put up with not being able to get anything until you next get pocket money. If you get it weekly think of it as something you could only get with a month's worth of pocket $$$.

-Be conservative and spend your money over a while on lots of stuff that are semi-interesting.

#101:  Author: The White Blacksmith PostPosted: Mon Jul 27, 2009 8:06 am

Spend all of my pocket money all at once. Although it would possibly mean I ended up with no clothes if it continued over a period of time...

Be a vegetarian

or

Eat no fruit or vegetables.

Be a vegetarian, definitely. I'm already sort of leaning in that direction, and I like the taste of tofu Smile

Would you rather be unable to read at all for one month,

or

only be able to read tabloids for one month?

Read tabliods for one month, won't be that bad, only 30 days.

Would you rather spend learning how to be a perfect writer.

Or

Would you rather spend time going to a university for writers.

#104:  Author: The White Blacksmith PostPosted: Mon Aug 03, 2009 2:37 am

The university - I'm not that bothered about becoming a writer myself but it might be cool to go to university as long as you don't include the fees.

Have everyone hate your opinion

Or

Have everyone hate you

#106:  Author: LordoftheNightLocation: Hell PostPosted: Tue Aug 04, 2009 5:55 pm

They can hate me all they like so long as they respect my opinion. Though thinking about it, that's not much difference to the truth. 'Course, they generally hate my opinion as well, but at least they're forced to accept I'm right.

Break both your arms or break both your legs?

#107:  Author: The White Blacksmith PostPosted: Wed Aug 12, 2009 7:07 am

*le gasp* It's a Lordy. Not seen you in a while.

Both my legs. Yes, I can't do sport but at least I can do other stuff. Whereas if I break both my arms about the only thing I can do is run/walk.

Have no real friends but a lot of people who like you

or

Have one really good friend but everyone else hates you?

#108:  Author: The Meaning Of FearLocation: In a deep, dark corner of the universe, plotting. PostPosted: Fri Aug 14, 2009 1:40 pm
    —
The latter. It's far easier to cope with, but to be honest I'd really rather be everyone's friend. Wink

Catch chickenpox and exactly a week after you recover from it, catch a cold.

OR

The above, except the other way around.

The first option was what was happening to me over the last 3 weeks.

#109:  Author: HiddenHeartsCryLocation: It's bloody here PostPosted: Sun Aug 16, 2009 1:39 pm

The first one. My cold's usually last a while, and I hate their blankety blank selves. I don't think I could handle chickenpox right after one. Though I've never had the chickenpox Very Happy

Would you rather:

Kill yourself by suffocation

or

Kill yourself by starvation
?
I've tried both. Neither is fun.

#110:  Author: Black HawkLocation: On board my ship/ At the Inn PostPosted: Thu Aug 20, 2009 2:39 am

I'd take the suffocation since it would be shorter. although I'm none too happy about having to kill myself so I'll do a lighter one.
Would you rather?
1.Go back in time 100 years
or
1000 years

100 years, I can see my great grandma. Smile

Would you rather have 2 good friends and some people like you?

Or

Would you rather have everyone like you and those two friends being jealous?

two good friends.....i would never be able to get along with everyone anyway.

hmmm....

live your life knowing you will someday be the cause of some great disaster

or

die knowing you adverted the disaster.

#114:  Author: The White Blacksmith PostPosted: Thu Sep 03, 2009 2:22 am
    —
Hmm. Depends what the disaster is to be honest. Presumably I would know, right? However, without knowing, I'd say die just before the disaster and avert it.

Chicken out of doing something very dangerous and get called a coward by everyone forever.

Or

Do the dangerous thing, but break all four limbs in the process (they will heal, it'll just take a few months).

#115:  Author: zaharkLocation: Playing with weapons, specifically swords PostPosted: Thu Sep 03, 2009 4:54 am

I would chose to be a Neutral !
who cares if other people think your a chicken.

1. be stuck in the house all summer and not be allowed to go any where because you have to watch a younger sibling (who's a pain in the butt)

or

2. go back to school, but get piles of homework.

this is basically how my whole summer has been.

#116:  Author: The White Blacksmith PostPosted: Tue Sep 08, 2009 7:41 am

Stay at home. Just intimidate the young sibling until he/she realises that they're being annoying.

Be constantly tired

Or

Be constantly super-hyper.
