Okay. The nomination stage of the IFYs is over. Thanks to all who expressed an opinion, we've got some great chances this time around :D
Now it's time to vote, and you have three days, before the other half of the voting begins. The category up for consideration here is:
Best Description/Detail : Have you read a storygame and become totally immersed in its imagery and detail? Then it deserves your vote for the Best Description/Detail Ify.
Get Voting! |

Woo! Casts first vote of the IFYs!
As much as TGFS is great, I think for 'being there' value, EoD pips it at the post. Perhaps this is because it has been round longer, or I just read a new chapter the other day.
In any case, it's the one I chose here. |

My vote for Best Description goes towards The Greatest Fantasy Story Ever, due to the fact that it is...well...incredibly detailed, from the map drawn by Alba to her own brand of Forest Elves. |

I have to go with One Last Bullet, for it's no hold's barred style, rough and tumble attitude, and emotion packed psycho drama. You can pretty much feel the hate and anger ooze right off the page. |

I voted for Greatest Fantasy Story Ever - laugh out loud descriptions throughout the chapters that make the story rather than detract from it. Wonderful stuff. |

Overall, I'd say it's got to be GFSE for me. Lovely descriptions, lots of detail making a rich background to set the plot in :D |

Of course, I didn't even contemplate* voting for my own story. Oh no.
So it was GFSE ever, with hilarious characters full of life and a wonderfully vivid landscape populated with all manner of kooky and silly beings. Go Thracia!
* This may also be a lie |

Congratulations to The Greatest Fantasy Story Ever who will go forward to represent MEH for Best Description/Detail in the City IFY's next week.
Thanks to everyone that voted.

Sorry Rave - not a lot we could do. :(
Last year the main issue was that the awards dragged on, so we are trying to do it reasonably quickly.
The date for the polls going up was released 2 weeks ago though - we've tried to let people know.
Glad you've made it for the second batch. :) |
