I think that depends on where you live Fox. There are quite a few female bush pilots in Alaska. I can name six femme pilots in my small town alone. :D

I'm male, btw. There are more females than males in the world ( I think I saw a stat somewhere), so it makes sense that the ratio exists in the city as well. Although the advantage is slight.
