Review Board Reviewed!

The City Council has been drinking deep and late lately, as they discuss the way forward for the Review Board and promotions process.

With the Councilors mandated to look at how to improve the number of active SGames in the main forum, several changes have been put into place to make the promotion process faster, easier and generally more transparent.

Some highlights of the changes are:

The fee has now been abolished!

SGames will be proactively moved without the need for submission by the Head Eaters if they are deemed worthy.

Writers can now create their own polls.

There will also be more authors allowed to start stories in the Main Forums. These ‘Established Authors’ will be selected from proven writers on the site in the coming weeks, and on an ongoing basis.

Chinaren was said to be pleased with the new proposals, which he said were a natural evolution of the Review Board.

SGame of the Bi-Month?

Hopefully the New Promotion Processes will stimulate more Sgames in the city, but until this is the case, the monthly SGotM award may be changed to a bi-monthly competition.

The Mayor said that it was too soon to say if this would definitely be the case, but the CA Mods and Council would keep a close eye on the situation.

Weaver Let Loose.

A defiant Masterweaver was recently released from the Hole, where he had been incarcerated for Crimes against IF. The ASS* chief, Mr. Tok said that his agents would be keeping a close eye out for further infractions, and urged citizens to ‘Squeal like stuck pigs’ on any wrong doer.

*Anti-Spam-Squad.

Summer Slump Fears Grip City.

Worries of another summer lull has been sending shivers down the backs of local merchants. They fear an exodus of IFians similar to the Great Slump of O6.

The City Council is considering new initiatives to try and generate more activity in the city, and urges all Citizens to eat sugar and caffeine products that are easily available from any Chinaren Inc Stimulant outlet.

Roundup.
