I wont name names but there are several of these in IF that right now deserve to be recognised - if only so they will go away! ;)

This IFy covers any Antagonist character appearing in a storygame that has had a chapter posted in 2007.

New Storygames are eligible.

Theres plenty of great bad guys out there tha could use the recognition so report them to the authorities so we can give them their 'award*'.

*read send them to jail for a long time....

I like the all powerful Leader, from Dear Dotty. He never actually intervenes, but his omnipotent presence is felt everywhere throughout Dotty's words. He even makes Dotty correct her previous statements because they are too 'radical'. The Leader is my choice for Best Antagonist because although his person is never really described, his evil aura reigns throughout the storygame.

And yes, he is an antagonist, even if Dotty declares him to be the 'beloved Leader'.

EDIT: Nevermind, I just realized this storygame was not 2007. Still, I wish Powers would come back and bring it out of hiatus. :(

Well I would like to nominate the character Lordofthenight from the Hangover. Despite all his efforts he ended up saving the very city he intended to destroy.

Drat! And Double Drat!! :D

(edit to add - Hmmm, bit of a grey area this. Strictly speaking perhaps I shouldn't be nominating this, since it was me who directed the Hangover - although it was Lordy that created the character... Mmmm. Okay, scratch that. Nomination is void. Just view this as a shameless advertisement. *ahem* )

Of course, Zephyr's choice of Veronica is highly excellent and well worthy of a second. :lol:

While I’m sure there is plenty of excellent antagonists out there in the city I haven’t had time to stumble across yet, I AM familiar enough with Veronica the Violator to know he at least deserves a second.

Well, looks like everyone wants to nominate me. Fair enough. Not going to complain.

If Crunchy's not allowed to nominate me in my staring HangOver role, then I suppose I might have to do it. But should I nominate HangOver, or Wrath? *ponders*

In my opinion, HangOver being a co-op. story, Crunchy's more than liable to nominate it, but I wouldn't be. In light of that, I'm going to second myself in Wrath, as I don't think I should nominate the character I made.

Well, I'm still not convinced the Leader really counts as an antagonist - Dear Dotty being one of the few stories without one in my opinion.

But if Crunchy (or maybe C'ren, as I don't think Crunchy was around) has no objection, then go ahead.

I already pointed out that I cancelled my nomination due to the fact that Dear Dotty is not a 2007 Storygame. But I do believe the Leader is an antagonist. Why do you think he is not?
