admin or absorption? hard choice. Admin could possibly grant him info that he needs to access higher levels, or perhaps hard copies of interesting stuff. the absorption chamber though, hell, sounds like the place where all the interesting stuff happens. probably easier to access the absorption chamber though. Research is going to be hard to break into, probably the tightest security possible in the joint. and the holding pens sound boring. people that ready to be slaughtered or altered. could maybe get laid there, but that is about all i can see that would be of any benefit.

Good chapter. I think that was a quite daring chapter. well written though, and displays yet more of our wonderful protagonists thoughts. keep it up the good work!

I'm not too sure about the DP, but I don't think the admin is the right way. Gloom should check out the absorption and pens first.

If the holding area has prisoners, maybe he can let them go and they would cause a distraction?

In a previous chapter there is talk of The Dark becoming stronger with each summoning and soon he would be strong enough to escape his masters. I think this place has something to do with what The Dark is. At the moment Gloom knows virtually nothing about The Dark, so he doesn't know what he's supposed to be looking for.

The Absorbtion Chamber, Research lab and Admin block will probably yield a lot of answers to Gloom, but he needs to know what the question is first. Undoubtedly the question will present itself with the discovery of the inhabitants of the holding pen.

Holding pen, I say! :-D
