Due to technical difficulties, polling isn't working on the story thread so please make your votes here instead.
Current decision point is where Sej will choose to go first, having just made his escape from the caves.
Poll will be active for a few days.
Happy Storygaming. :) |

A kindly donation of food poisoning from my friendly neighbourhood Indian delivery has done in my muse this week folks. :?
I hope to be back on my feet in the next few days.
In the meantime, it's still pretty close, and a couple of votes could swing the decision.
Happy Storygaming. :) |

Half a pint of Pollyfilla and a strategically placed cork should do the trick.... you'll be back in action in no time! :) |

New decision point. How is Sej going to react to the arrival of this stranger?
Poll will be up for a few days.
If either of the options where the stranger is invited to stay is chosen, then you can assume Sej will be trying to reconcile Morhem's animosity. |

Poll results
How do we react?
Listen to Morhem's ill feeling and ask the stranger to leave?
14% [ 1 ]
Cautiously invite him to sit at the fire, but watch carefully?
85% [ 6 ]
Welcome him with open arms, happy for some extra company?
0% [ 0 ]
Seems we're not kicking him away just yet, folks. Thanks for voting. Look out for the next chapter very soon.

Technical difficulties continue, so another poll in here.
Sej is already asleep I'm afraid, so comments about setting a guard (whilst sensible) or other actions aren't possible.
The poll is concerning the plan once we wake up and boils down to...
- Go on alone
- Go on with Morhem
- Go on with Tericun
- Gon on with both.
Of course, each option aside from the first will rely on a) Finding Morhem, b) Tericun being willing to go, but it's our plan not what will happen ;)
For those that vote for going on alone - are you just walking off peacefully? Attempting to steal Tericun's horse?
Lots of options to consider leading to what will probably be quite a crucial chapter.
Vote well.

| I voted for going together...perhaps a mutual enemy (not necessarilly a living creature...cood be enviromental) brings the three of them into an uneasy alliance...looking forward to the next chapter...good work Smee...-T. |

| I realized that Sej is attracted to Tericun, because of his human familiarity, so I think he will try to compromise the approaches of the two ancient enemies. |

Hmmm only 5 votes.
8 votes, 7 votes, 5 votes... we have a bad trend. Oh well, on we plod.
- Go on with Morhem? 20% [ 1 ]
- Go on alone? 0% [ 0 ]
- Go on with Tericun 0% [ 0 ]
- Go on with both. 80% [4]
We'll be continuing to try and make the peace, and get moving all together.
Look out for the next chapter soon,

oooooh...this is a tough poll...I like all the choices...I can't decide...I can't decide...
(closes eyes and points)
Alright...I'll go with trying to use the quill to wish for escape...I don't know how to word this properly or how you might do this, but please let him discover this by accident...he shouldn't just 'know' that the quill will help him this way......
Loving this story Smee...I even recommended it to a friend of mine (hopesfallyn) who has since read it and posted a reply...can't wait for more...T. |

Ok - thanks for your votes everyone.
Next chapter, and Sej will be hoping there's someone in the next prison who can help.
