Does Deica normally talk about her travels to strangers?
What did Deica and Alcyrone talk about when she was a child?
Where was Merope when her six sisters were visiting the Centaur's village and conversing with Deica?
If Deica tells Merope everything about her previous travels, will Alcyrone retaliate?And if so, how?
Does Merope know anything about the Makers and who Deica's mother is? :grin:

There's nothing normal about Deica's travels. ;) She has run into many strange beings since leaving home; some have proven trustworthy and she's confided in them, many have tried to capture or kill her. She hasn't told anyone about the travels she's been doing since arriving at the Frontier (being chased by the Makerite army, the encounters with the bear, and with Laran, and being captured by the wolves).

Deica's encounter with the Sisters was when she snuck into the forest when she was nine years old. She spied on six witches singing and dancing around a fire; they discovered her and asked her questions, mainly about whether she had special powers such as the ability to see into the future or do magic. She was too frightened to say much, and at the end they seemed to grow tired of her and go back to their singing and dancing. After a while, they changed into dragons and took off into the sky.

Deica doesn't remember well enough to recognize who the Sisters were, but Alcyone seemed to confirm that she was one of them in the conversation last chapter, and from her comment, Merope doesn't seem to know that they've encountered her.

Deica doesn't know the answer to these questions, which means I can't answer them either. :) You can always suggest that Deica ask about these things, but you (like she) can't find out the answer without acting in some way.

Give her a bare outline of her travels but then redirect the conversation so that Deica asks the questions. Pry for information about what it was Merope did to create the Makers, and where they were all born.

I agree that we need to hear why they are fighting this war...we need to be able to choose our side...but then we need to find the other makers...maybethey hold answers on how to end this war

I F5 D. She still doesn't know if she can trust them, so she shouldn't tell them anything in detail, or anything they can use against her. This seems to be a contest of wills: get as much information as possible, give as mittle informations as possible. If they challenge her about this, say that she does not know their intentions, what they've done or their reasons; why should she tell them hers? Merope at least seems like she will be impressed bythis quick thinking, and she seems to be the one you want to make most impression on.

Well, I got in too late to make a suggestion, but I don't think it would have been much different from the others. I will say that I've really enjoyed the last two chapters, much more than the few that came before them. Tough DP, too - hopefully we can get information on more than one of these topics.
