Hello everyone! As the old thread has been eaten by the as-yet-unspotted-monster hiding in the Open Forum, I thought I'd better post another one.
So here it is: the AWAY MESSAGES thread.
Basically if you're going away or will be inactive for a while then you can post it here so that everyone knows you haven't suddenly died or become addicted to WOW. ;)

I've got a real example here if anyone is getting confused:

I found it, caught it, and as of now it is captured. Gave me a hellava fight, may let it loose in the Forest somewhere, hehehe. Turns out is was a Auto-Prune-isoarus Hex. It's taken care of for now.

Right then - seeing how no-ones managed to use this thread correctly yet, I'll be the first. Yes, it's sad to say, but your beloved High Lord Chancellor will be disappearing for a few weeks.

I'm leading this whole invasion force thing. It's cool, but I'll be out of contact for a while. Listen out for it on the news though - the invasion kicks off on the 3rd. We're going to reap, despoil, plunder and all sorts of kinky things though. Should be a blast.

As for you soon to be conquered nations - have no fear. We probably won't enslave all of you, there's a good chance you'll make it out without even realising your leaders have changed.

Anyone breaks IF while I'm gone, and I'll send round the boys.

I'm here, but I have been busy lately with RL so I have only log into If to read new posts and do the normal Mayoral duties, no fun stuff :smile:. Fear not though, your Mayor is still hatching and developing schemes for If that he promised. Hehehe.

I will be traveling alot during the next two or three weeks and will have at best intermittent internet access. I'll be checking in whenever possible during that time, but it might hold up the progress on chapter one of Plethera and will definately slow the pace of things in Wyndshire. I apologize, and promise to get things back in shape as soon as I can.

Okay people, I know this will be a shock for you so please take your medicines and do every other type of preparation for this...

I won't be in IF for a week and a half. Yes, I know it sounds crazy and untrue, but unfortunately that means I won't be in the Inn for a while. I know you are all devastated to hear that and you all want to see me work on my latest chapter to make it better... (hint! hint!)

So, I'm leaving on Aug 20th, won't be back until Aug 30th, maybe 31st because I'm coming back late at night...

Sowwy, I know you won't miss me, and I promise I'll contact you telepathically since I won't have internet access there. :D

Well, I know that I'm new here, but I've met some of you in the inn, so I wanted to let you guys know that I'm going to disappear for a while on a great quest for knowledge. I must learn the secrets of cheeto warfare! :D While I probably won't succeed I may aquire other not-quite-as-important secrets to the universe.

Anyway, I'll be gone starting on August 21st, but I'm not quite sure when I'll return. The latest, I think, will be around September 1st, but hopefully I can drop by sooner than that. :P

the dreded school starts again for me on sept 3rd....so I'd just like to say after that I won't be able to be on as offten as I'd like (unless I get exremly lucky and get a study hall with computors...but my luck sucks). So after that I'll be on when I can and I'll try to keep up with reading (I'll most likely be on durring the weekends after the 3rd). ...and yeah...I'll miss you guys

THIS IS SERIOUS, NO JOKE!

I am formally right here, right now leaving IF. It was a fun ride until true colors began to show through, displayed by select attitudes and behaviors of a few individuals who managed to ruin the fun for me. I will not stand for this and since I have hardly any authority, I will take matters into my own hands and do what is best for my well-being. I may act like a kid, but when stuff like this happens, I will stand for myself. I am asking for my account to be deleted permanently.

Thanks to the ever mounting pressures of RL I will be forced to take an extended and indefinate vacation from IF.

I wish you all the best, and look forward to catching up with my favorite writers and SGs someday in the future.

P.S. I will be around for a little bit longer while I tie up some loss ends, but it's easier to say my goodbyes now.

Last night I was caught with my computer, which was then taken away after a severe scolding.

Basically, it means I won't be around for at least a week- until my computer is returned.

I'm leaving tomorrow (25th Oct) for a week (until the 1st Nov) because I'm going to Greece with the school. :tu:
It's my first time abroad and flying on a plane so should be exciting.
Anyway I'll say hello again in a week with my nice new tan before getting crushed by the many tons of new posts I'll have to sort through.
