Right, I've finally decided to take the plunge, after many weeks of debating with myself, and I'm putting up some of my paintings. I was so unsure of whether I should or not, but since I have sold my paintings before, I figured I must be, at least, okay at it! :P

These are all real paintings, meaning they were done with a paint and brush on a canvas/art paper. The computor art that I've seen on here is amazing, but completely beyond my capabilities! :P

Hope you like them! ;)

Laviathan
Watercolour & Ink, Size:30cmx20cm aprox

Celenia, The Midnight Dragon
Acrylic on Canvas, Size:50cmx50cm (the whole thing is not shown here)

This painting is actually called Tikanni Corazon, which means 'Wolf Heart'.
The painting came first, just in case you were wondering! :P

I've got the full painting, plus a close-up of the detailing, just because I was quite proud of the grass detailing.

Thankyou Emperor, Thunderbird, and Tatty!
Your comments mean alot!

@Thunderbird - The extra creativity, makes up for lack of acedemic talent! :laf: And believe me, there is alot of making up to do!

Awesome stuff there, Tik! Beautiful artwork, especially like the attention to detail.

You should offer your services as an illustrator for storygames! Make sure you charge a good rate of fables tho ;)

We have an Album here where you can showcase your work if you want to. You can upload it into the public categories, and you also have your own personal album too, which you can put a link to in your signature, if you like. :)

More on how to do that Here

:D

Thankyou so much, Crunchy and C-Ren, for your comments! :)
@Crunchy - I'll have a think about the things that you suggested. I like the ideas, but, as I think you know, I'm just useless on this thing, and I'd end up doing something wrong! But I will think about it (and probably will ask Tats to give me a hand!). ;)

I'm changing the name of this thread. I not only paint, but I make all sorts of stuff too. At the moment, I am in the middle of making a teddy bear , for the first time, and it's going much better than I expected! So, as long as it continues to go well, I will post up a photograph of that on here too. ;)

Once again, thankyou all for your lovely comments! :D

Okay, I've been rooting around, and found out some more paintings! Hope you like! :D

The first two are of Fantasy Butterflies, which, along with dragons, are my favourite things to paint! Sorry for the slight blurring!

Amazon Queen
Acrylic on Canvas - 12cmx8cm aprox

Shy Violets
Acrylic on Canvas - 12cmx8cm aprox

This next one is older than the others. I can't remember, exactly, when it was painted, but it was about three and a half years ago.

My Unicorn Friend
Oil on Canvas - 40cmx30cm aprox

That's all for now! Thanks for looking! :D

That is beautiful! I believe your paintings are amazing. Such small intricate detail in each. You should carry on with it.

Is't possible to make these a bit bigger? I'd like to see more detail.

Thanks for looking D, Nshade and Phang! :D

@Phang - I can try and make it bigger, but photobucket is playing me up something rotten! If not, I'll put some close-up details on there seperately.

@Phang - Okay, I've managed to enlarge it a little. Hope this is better!
I only did the one, but let me know if you would like any more of them made bigger too.

Earthie Goddess
Watercolour on 425gsm watercolour paper, with ink and gold acrylic, 25cmx40cm aprox.

This is a picture that I painted to go on my SG, SparkleSteps. But I decided to put a larger, more detailed version on here.
