| Welcome's to IF's own Writer's Academy! This is a learning institution, a place where IFians can come to improve their skills as writers. Included will be style manuals explaining the rules of grammar and punctuation as it pertains to a writer of fiction, in addition to classes on these and other subjects. Come and visit to help yourself and others develop as a writer. |

She, of course, insinuated that 'as writers' would have been grammatically correct, as you dropped the plural there where it should not have been dropped. IFians (plural) - writer (singular) (not correct). A common and easily made error that slips past most notice.
But not our beloved Schoolmarm! lol |
