I don't know about the lot of you, but I LOVE poetry! So I thought I'd start another little skirmish here over poetry!
Rules are simple:
#1 Must be original
#2 Must be in stated style
I hope to keep this a running competition. Every week I'll take applicants, just post your poem here, and the next week will be voting! Applicants can vote. After all votes are in, I will announce the winner and award 100 Fables to said winner, as well as post a new style to write in!
This weeks style will be -
IHaiku
I hope you all can have as fun with this one as you have with "Word" Let's see some poetic flow! |

| Well, a good way to start is to look up the maning on Wiki, then read some Shakespear (I know I spelled that wrong), and you'll have a good idea of what it is. |

| Ah well, perhaps we should start simpler. I changed the style to Haiku in hopes that we can perhaps get the ball rolling on this one. Well, have at it you poetic people you! I wish you best of luck :P |

I think I've only tried to write two haikus in my life, and I can only remember one. Here it is:

as an early frost descends
abort retry fail |
