So... I know the sum total of zero about Anime, my Japanese skills don't exist and the hair of my characters doesn't inextricably become huge and blonde when they get 'mad'*. :lol:

However, in a general sense I do like a bit of role play. But as RP covers such a wide range of styles, I thought I would be a bit more specific.

I would be pretty interested in roleplaying within the following IP's :

- Wheel of Time ( Give me Aes Sedai, White Tower, Black Tower etc, Lands of the Seanchan, Aiel waste... whatever)

- Game of Thrones (Song of Ice and Fire)

- Mossflower / Martin the Warrior ( Moinly cuz oi loikes t' torks loike a moilee, yus oi do, burr hurr ;) )

- EvE (New Eden)

- World of Warcraft (It has a bad rep because of the addictive nature of its game, but Lorewise, the history and world is a rich tapestry for roleplay)

In all of these I wouldn't want to mess with Canon/Prime fiction so would look for partners in such roleplay to have a firm grasp of the appropriate lore and be able to build a character to fit. (It would take very good persuasion on your part to interest me in assuming the roles of canon characters)

I'm not particularly interested in rolling dice, and I do not enjoy one-line conversations - they irritate me. I would want deep character development through exploration of thoughts, rich detail and conversation embedded within such. Basically, each post would be a couple of meaty paragraphs atleast!

I appreciate I've listed rather niche areas, and quite expect to find no matches - which is fine as my time is limited anyway. However if the fates have brought a load of Caldari Capsuleers, or Tauren Sunwalkers into the city then it behooves** me to know about it. I am here and open to your ideas.

Umnsss... I'd love to RP with you. I too prefer long paragraphs to one liners, which is one of the bigger reasons I begged for an RP section here on IF...Problem is...I don't know any of those, cept WoW by reputation....I'm a Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, Wonderland Online person myself as far as V-games go. I have read a lot of books, but those don't seem to be in my repitore.....Are there any other worlds you can think of to RP in? I'd reeeeeaaally like to RP wif U!

Hey Pope - sorry I don't really know any other IP's well enough to feel comfortable RP'ing within them.

TB that's an idea, but that isn't what this thread is about. These are the IP's I want to RP in and despite having limited time right now would make the effort to get involved in regardless.

More experimental, or different ideas people look to start I'll decide to join or not on a per idea basis. I just wanted a base to try to find those rare few who might share a matching desire and knowledge.
