I'm going to try a new format, a cross between "Two-word stories" and traditional storygaming. I'm going to tell a story one sentence at a time, and the first word of each sentence I'll take from anyone who wants to post one. So for example..

someone posts: The
I write: The postmaster stamped Sam's letter and tossed it in the bin.
someone else posts: Well
I write: "Well, that's it," thought Sam.
someone else posts: Becky
I write: "Becky's not going to like that letter, but it's best to make a clean break."

and so on until we have a full story. Obviously only one person can post a word each time, but if there's more than one person who wants to play, hopefully you can take turns so it's not always the same person posting.

I don't have anything in mind to start; can I have the first word of the story title?

Okay, I don't usually join in with this type of thing, but this sounds fairly interesting. For a starting word for the title, how about...*ponders*...
