Alright so the rules are simple...

I'll post a word, and the next person to post puts up the first kind of story plot idea that comes to mind, then posts a word of their own.



Ok, let's start simple. The first word is ISLAND

I'll respond to ISLAND:
The hero Beowulf wakes up on an island where he and other mythological heroes are constantly set upon by terrible monsters and forced to battle them constantly. The heroes go through terrible suffering in the battles, but cannot die. Beowulf comes to realize that this is the afterlife, and at the end accepts that it is a good one.

The next word is ROSE.

Once upon a time, there used to be a beautiful flower garden, meticuously tended to by it's care taker, who grew into an old lady through the years. When she died, the flowers became fairies and used her home as their own. However, they can not be seen by the normal humans, who seem to be interested in buying up the house and re-imagining the land. One of these fairies is named Pink Rose, and she doesn't want the garden to disappear because then they will disappear. But what can she do?

FROG
A story of a frog who was called into existence by God as one of the Biblical plagues. He doesn't understand why he is so despised by humans and only wants to be accepted as a normal frog who never intended anybody any harm.

Next is SUSPICION

The world is suddenly grey, and everyone is either a detective, a criminal, a bartender, a cop, or an innocent. Also, apparently every town looks like chicago, and people have started to speak differently, and noticably more monotone yet dramatic. Our main character, John Greyman, has gone from an author to being a detective. So, naturally, he makes it his job to figure out what's happened. The task might be difficult, because everyone else seems to have trouble remembering anything before the world turned grey. (suspicion turned into a classic detective movie)

A cop character in an action/thriller movie sequence comes out of the movie screen and starts walking around in real life. He has a hard time adjusting, as he is constantly expecting things to be super-dramatic and exciting, but also without any real consequences.

At first he believes it's sabotage by ice-cream proprietor, looking for revenge.

He convinces a friend to stay the night and together they keep watch on the pantries, hoping to catch his rival red-handed. What they discover is beyond their wildest imagination. A dairy-based thriller, not for the faint hearted!

Four children are abducted at birth and experimented on, strengthening already unique traits of theirs, and turning them into their own private weapon force. Before the tests have been completed, they escape. Can these four young adults figure out how to adapt in life with their Twisted Genes?
