Examine the Key
It looks like a glass chess piece. It's a very odd key, but you figure that it's probably important. When you leave this room, you will appear on the hill again, and have the two items mentioned to you again. This is sloppy, because you never left the hill in the first place. Sometimes, recycling and linking to near-identical rooms just isn't worth it. It would have been better to create a new room.
