Synopsis
Part One
Intro
Information about the town of Kielbata, and it’s location. Dire warnings about possible future events.
Chapter One: The Beginning of the End
A semi-human, semi-feline is stalked by two men. She swiftly dispatches them, and learns that a Pit Boss named Fangrimn wanted her dead.
DP = Track down the Pit Boss
Chapter Two: Concerning Identities
The feline fights her way through a group of ogre mercenaries, before confronting the troll Fangrimn. We learn her name is Ulliana Halfelven.
No DP.
Chapter Three: Caught in the Act
Ulliana learns the Crown Prince of Dartain wants her dead, and information is shed on the Kingdom’s governmental structure. She is then attacked and defeated by half a dozen town guard, led by a female Knight of Annerire.
She awoke in the Cities Dungeon, but picks the lock with a metal tooth concealed in her mouth. A stranger in the next cell asks her to free him as well, promising to lead her to her weaponry.
DP = Free the other Prisoner
Chapter Four: In the Darkness of Shadow
Ulliana frees the stranger, who suddenly appears a lot more confident. He leads her to the East Tower, killing two guards who stand in his way in just a matter of seconds. Ulliana retrieves her blade, and wonders what to do about the stranger.
DP = Question the man about who he is before letting him get his weapon.
Chapter Five: A Deep Breathe Before the Plunge
The man reveals himself to be called Kagemusho, but is cut off from speaking more by the arrival of guards. He leaps through the tower window – using a piece of cloth to slow his descent. Ulliana attempts to fight against the guards, and is wounded, before turning and following him out.
She awakes to see Kagemusho peering down at her, and asks how he is able to see when blindfolded. Her wound has completely disappeared, and Kagemusho is questioning her on her next move.
DP = Press Kagemusho for more information
Chapter Six: Kagemusho
Kagemusho informs her they are in a leper-house, only for her to fall unconscious once more. She awakes to be attacked by a masked assassin, who Kagemusho surprises and knocks out, but not before he wounds Ulliana.
Kagemusho somehow cures her wounds and fever, before explaining to her that he is a member of a mysterious organisation.
DP = Go to the Prince’s Castle, and find out why he wants her dead.
Chapter Seven: The Castle of Akbar
The pair makes their way to Akbar, and infiltrates the castle. Splitting up, Ulliana is forced to decide whether to storm the dining room, or hopefully wait in the Prince’s room.
DP = Wait in the Crown Prince’s quarters.
Chapter Eight: A Mystery Unfolded
Ulliana makes her way to the Bedrooms, only to discover Kagemusho is waiting for her there. They find the room they assume to be the Crown Princes, and wait inside.
When he comes though, he claims to be the Crown Prince’s younger brother instead.
DP = Force the Prince to talk
Chapter Nine: A City in the Mists
The Prince is forced to talk, but seems to be almost eager to do so. He tells her about his murdered younger brother, and about how the Crown Prince is desperate to get Ulliana’s sword. According to legend, the same blade was used by a Rakshasa to conquer most of the known world.
DP = Go to Myst, and find out about the sword.
Chapter Ten: Journey Eastwards
The pair set off across the country to Myst, stopping only to steal horses from Alphbaks. They are ambushed by bandits along the way to Danzig, and Ulliana loses her horse.
DP = Walk to Danzig, and ride Kagemusho’s horse in case of danger.
Chapter Eleven: Icon of Dominus
Ulliana learns more about Kagemusho, and the mark on his left palm. On the way to Danzig they are attacked by a group of Wraiths, who catch up to them just outside the city walls. Kagemusho attempted to fight them off while Ulliana crawled to safety.
DP = Shout to the City guards for help
Chapter Twelve: Red Sky at Night
Kagemusho is weakening as Ulliana turned back to him, shouting at the walls appearing useless. He falls to the ground, his left hand mangled, and the Wraiths turn their attention to Ulliana. As she flees, a black clad solely in black fire rescues her. The flames die away, revealing a dark clad blonde haired man, who introduces himself as Zanthe. Zanthe takes them inside the city walls, and to a healer. While there he explained that he was travelling to Myst himself, and offered his company alone the road.
DP = Try and find a remedy, so that both she and Kagemusho can travel to Myst with Zanthe.
Chapter Thirteen: Possible Options
Sister Silence explains three possible options that could potentially help Kagemusho – a potion, and relic which wards off the undead, and a rare herb.
DP = Find out more about the relic, and search for the Auclid Root.
Chapter Fourteen: The Grand Museum
Sister Silence tells her where to find the Roots, and some information about them. Zanthe gives her information about the relic, and Ulliana goes to investigate the museum. While there she finds out about the sword as well, but nothing definite.
She makes her way northwards to where the Roots should blossom, but comes across a caravan under attack by beastmen.
DP = Aid the hapless caravan against the beasts.
Chapter Fifteen: Beasts of the Forest
Ulliana and the caravan guards manage to route the beasts, though at a high cost. The merchant who she rescued tries to have her arrested, at which one of the guards stops him, and swears a life debt to her.
DP = Take Enthral along with her, and try to make him a friend.
Chapter Sixteen: The Yellow Auclid Root
Arriving at the grove, Ulliana picks the flower only to discover the beasts have come back in greater numbers, and are determined to slay her for trespassing upon their sacred ground.
DP = Challenge Lord Kharnre for leadership of the tribe.
Chapter Seventeen: Darkness Adjourned
Ulliana gets beaten senseless by Lord Kharnre, and Enthral is killed.

Part Two
Chapter Eighteen: K'zon
Kagemusho awakes, and it is revealed that he possesses another personality, that of a daemonic entity known as K'zon. K'zon is faster and more powerful than Kagemusho, in addition to being more beastial, and growing claws. He attacks the warrior tavern, and kills everyone inside.
