Bored. So thought I'd list five movies I think everyone should see, and see if anyone else had comment/addiitons to the list.
In no particular order:
Ink
Galaxy Quest
Hamlet (Branugh version)
The Importance of Being Ernest
Rashamon(Silent version) _________________ "For still there are so many things that I have never seen.

Cool idea! Here are 5 I would recommend that everyone watch at some point. I wouldn't say that they're my favourite films... well some of them are, but I just think that they're all brilliant.
1)Medicine Man - Sean Connery at his best
2)Angel Heart - v. disturbing, so not for the faint of heart
3)The Changeling - the 1980 film with George C Scott, not to be mistaken for Changeling with Angelina Jolie
4)Lost Boys - So not your usual crappy vampire movie, and the soundtrack is awesome!
5)Orphan - Hadn't even heard of this when I bought it, but it really is very good. _________________ .... there is no religion without love, and people may talk as much as they like about their religion, but if it does not teach them to be good and kind to man and beast, it is all a sham....

I too thought this was a very fun idea to do, so I thought I would recommend some of my own.
The Silence of the Lambs is brilliantly chilling and has a really cool twist at the end!
The Lovely Bones, in my opinion, is a very underrated and is far better than it is made out to be. Stanley Tucci plays a hateful character!
Disneys Beauty and the Beast is just wonderful.
Apocalypto is a really well made film. Mel Gibson is a much better director than actor But tbh he is brilliant in signs!
And Finally...
SHAWN OF THE DEAD!!! I love this film. It is frickin' awesome! Must see!

Inception (SO EPIC)
Lord of the Rings (ALL THREE are necessary for life)
Fallen (you will never be able to hear the song "Time is on my side!" without thinking of this movie)
Dark Knight
The Godfather
Best movies ever. _________________ I've been pulled back from oblivion to lurk about the City once more. Though the music of the night always beckons...
Here's some stuff I started writing a long time ago. Orb. Nexus.
