Hey! I'll have you know I paid good fables for gloating rights until the end of the month. I'm determined to get my full money's worth! ;)

I doubt our Stoat would do that.

It's nice to leave a SG open for a while, so we can all beg for a sequel, which I can't help noticing, hasn't started yet. ;)

It was a joke...

Congratulations! I just caught up, and I must say this was a great achievement, one you should remember for the rest of your life (unless you become a famous author).

Anyway, Good job. ;)

PUBLISH THIS!

In our modern day there have been relatively few 'fairy tales' told anew. This was very much like Shrek in the fact that the world of 'fairy tales' was displayed altogether, as if all the characters ever to be imagined were to be found in one home, limbo. This drawing upon the rich history of many various fanciful stories, in conjunction with a healthy dose of creativity, has produced a story which could be a classic, not just on IF (where this story is and will forever be a shining example of the best of all Storygames).

A few notes as to why I felt this story was so darned good. First, it presented us with decision points which were so open ended, it inspired all of its players to get really creative(I am so mad I missed them). I mean, it dealt with how to deliver wishes... how cool is that?

The second was the inverse and tricky nature of the character's intentions. She was trying to grant these wishes in a way that would get her fired but not demoted... difficult at best.

Third, the supporting characters were awesome. Chuzzle is VERY memorable.

Fourth, you never really knew what was going to come next.

Fifth, the humor was delivered perfectly. Great one liners combined with a humorous plot all around to create a very solid comedy. Perhaps this could be adapted to a theatrical script?

The only complaint I WOULD have had if I were a player, would be the length of the chapters. I realize the reason for this, but it seemed to me that a sequel should consider using more variety in the decision points to break up the chapters a bit more. It's easier for the reader to pick up on shorter chapters. I would have caught on to this earlier, and have been able to participate, if the chap length hadn't been so daunting.

Still, this was a masterpiece! I came here to sample your writing Stoat, only to find that it is some of the best stuff I've ever read. I know I've said that about a few IFians, but wow, you're literary sword is sharp and you have real potential in the world of publishing. IF authors like you, Stoat, are amazing me more and more with every story I read.

Kudos!
