Chapter 4

The crowd of friends huddled closer and closer together as the shadows slowly lurked towards them.

“Oh my god, oh my god! What the hell are we doing?” Said Kang, grasping hold of his Samari sword.

They all began to shudder in fright.

“Gahhh!” screamed Smee, as one of the shadows launched a massive cream pie at him.

A giant cackle came from one of the shadows as it hopped in the air. The figure looked strangely familiar. It had a ball-shaped body with four thin legs coming off it. Another one, in the shape of a small dragon cast a shadow ball at the group, which burst into a puff of smoke. No body could see a thing.

“Mwuhahaha, you will never beat us.” said the shadow, creeping closer.

“Screw this! Tatty. Let’s rock!” announced Tikkani.

They both looked around the group with a mischievous grin on their face and then they all turned to face the enemy.

“You’re gonna love this” boasted Tats.

Tikky and Tatty ran towards the shadow, flew gracefully into their animal form and began thrashing their paws. But, this did nothing but frighten the beasts at first.

“Alright Tiks, we’re gonna have to get serious now.” Tatty remarked.

As she stepped back and poised herself, she smirked and then let out a flare of ice cold wind at the shadows. They all began to burst into nothingness. Tikky slammed her front paws on the floor, lifted her head and released an intense bolt of lightning at the attackers, which made them melt to the floor.

Before they knew it, the large shadow mass was swiftly getting smaller and smaller.

“Take this!” Shouted Smee, throwing another fire ball.

The monsters screeched in pain as they burnt in the flames. The rest of the group charged feircly towards the opposition, as Crunchy hopped over to Cy to help him. Thunderbird began to flap his wings briskly and whipped up a powerful wind to trap the evil beings so they could be defeated. Kang pulled out his sword, which emitted a bright magical light and swung for the demons. With a burst of fire, thunder and ice there was an immense, thrilling flash. The darkness changed into light as all of the shadows faded away.

The others rushed over to Cy, who was collapsing from the brutal attack he had endeavoured, as they dragged him out of the chair .

“I really, really want some vanilla hot chocolate!” Cy cried.

“Of course, you poor thing, let auntie Crunchy sort you out sweetie.” Crunchy said as she wrapped an arm round him.

They all made a quick escape from the dark building and found themselves in a eerie and foggy street.

“So… Smee. Do you know how to get us home?” asked kang expectantly.

“Of course. I’m not going to make that mistake again. Ok everyone let’s go home and enjoy the rest of Christmas.”

“Wait. Everyone shut up.” whispered Thunderbird.

They all looked around. ‘Tap…tap…tap.’ A large faint figure began to emerge from the mist and it was getting closer and closer.



Ok so the DP is Who is that? A new character? Another enemy? Will they get home or will something else put off their Christmas even more.

Sorry it’s been so long and my chapters so short and probably really crap, I just felt like writing some :L Oh and Cy, sorry for making you look so feeble. I promise I’ll make you more heroic in the next chapter. Ooh and if anyone would really like to be in the story, just say and tell me like what you are, like if you’re a wizard or a dragon or whatever :D

As promised, I caught up, and I love the chapter. :) It's perfectly fine however you portray me, just write what you think you should regardless of what I might think. You did a great job so far. :) Okay, I'd say it's Samantha Claus, also known as Mrs. Claus. And she's evil. Naughty. ;)

I read this a couple days ago and wanted to say it was really enjoyed but I wasn't logged in at the time and didn't have much time to post so I went on and forgot to comment until now... oops... sorry ;)

Anyhow, so, yeah. Very much enjoyed this. You amaze me in how well you can write such short and concise chapters and still get us to a DP (I'm really bad at doing that...)

As for the DP, hmm... I had a thought earlier but I can't recall it now. Gimme a bit to remember it and come back when I do.

Hey Sis! Great chapter, even if it has been a long time coming. :P It is short, but not lacking anything due to it. Very exciting, and well paced chapter.


For the DP, I think it's Santa, who got accidentally side-tracked into the realm of the evil IFians, and another group of them have knocked him over the head, leaving him disorientated, and stolen his reindeer, sleigh and all the presents! *gasp*

Anyway, this is definatly an interesting tale! The chapters are short, but fun, and as far as I can tell, the portrayal of all the characters is accurate! *Big thumbs up*

There are quite a fer punctuation mistakes scattered throughout the story.... Several times I had to re-read things a few times to figure out where one sentance ended and another began... Very confuseing, may want to check through on that front....

As for the DP? It's......Good King Key who was transported here some time ago and Evil King Key took his place in the good realm and has slowly been destroying IF's economy! Now, Good King Key needs the party's help to restore his throne and return EKK back to the evil realm!

Can't wait to see more! Oh, and I'm hatching your egg and growing your hatchling for you :P
