WARNING! THIS CHAPTER HAS STRONG LANGUAGE! NOT FOR THE ONES WITH PARENTS OVER THEIR SHOULDERS OR WHO HAVE NEVER, EVER HEARD A CURSE WORD IN THEIR LIFE!
A SIDE NOTE! THIS STORY IS BUILT ON THE SILLY RUMOURS AND THINGS THAT GO ON IN IF AND IN THE INN! IF, FOR ANY REASON, THE JOKE THAT IS MADE IN A CHAPTER ABOUT YOUR IFIAN PERSONA YOU CAN'T TAKE... THEN GET OVER IT AND DON'T READ THE STORY. THIS STARTED OFF AS FUN AND WILL REMAIN SO AS LONG AS I HAVE PEOPLE WHO ARE GOOD SPORTS WITH THEIR SENSES OF HUMOR!
Chapter 9: Knee deep in it.
“My feet hurt.. Are we there yet?” NoNi couldn’t stop talking throughout the entire trip. DMW and Phantomfan were escorting Idea Master and JezSharp, both of whom had started to become lucid in response to NoNi’s constant babble. Cyberworm kept quiet after the first time he had politely asked NoNi to try and keep it down, explaining to her that she would give away their position to the enemy.
Soon, but not soon enough in their minds, the IT’s labs loomed before them, covered partially in ivy and moss from long neglect. DMW and Phantomfan argued over something about ducks and squirrels as they led the venerable old ones into the main lab area.
“So..” Cy began, looking at Jez and IM expectantly. “You’re aware of the situation.”
IM shook his robes out and straightened his hat. “Of course we are. We were the ones who made this virus.”
Jez kneaded his knuckles on his forehead. “Not of our own free will, of course.” He added seeing the shocked look on the other’s faces.
“Kept underground away from the Idearium mines and the fresh air.... Weakened us horribly. I was taken from my mansion after being bashed over the head and Jez here was snatched from right here in the IT’s labs once they stabbed him with a tranquilizer.” Idea Master continued.
“Once we came to, we were already chained to our chairs and we exchanged our stories when this person in a robe came in. Said that he needed a virus.. A good one. Something that would take IFians out of action but not kill them. Just make it look like their lives are in danger. And the one requirement was that it had to be transmittable through liquid exchange as well as highly contagious.” JezSharp added. “But he wanted an antidote too. For himself.”
DMW, Phantomfan, and Cyberworm all began talking at once.
“Who was it?!”
“This is horrible.”
“Mommy, I’m scared.”
At the last comment, which was DMW’s, everyone turned to give him a wide-eyed look.
“What? I had a moment.” He responded, looking sheepish.
“Cy..” NoNi said slowly and quietly, looking thoughtful. “If he wanted an antidote for himself, an antidote from a specially made virus that attacks IFians... wouldn’t that mean he’s an IFian too?”

Gallant and Sir Wax looked at each other, communicating an understanding with a silent look. Sir Wax gave a quick sharp nod and Gallant put two fingers in his mouth, letting out a sharp, piercing whistle that could be heard over all of IF. A neigh and thudding hoofbeats announced the arrival of a white steed seconds later who galloped right through a large group of the Ofians towards Gallant.
“Hey there Vehement! Atta boy!” Gallant patted the horse’s neck and swung himself onto the saddle, his drunken swagger actually aiding him in this endeavor. He then threw out his arm to Wax who grabbed his forearm and was tossed behind Gallant on the horse, back to back his pencil drawn and he rose his legs up straight so that he could kick Ofians in the face with his roller blades as the horse when by when he wasn’t erasing body-parts required for fighting.
Gallant gave a drunken warcry and set Vehement to a swift gallop through the large amount that came for him and the skater knight, slicing this way and that on each side of the horse, blood spurting from the decapitated bodies that they left in their wake.
Tavanesh, however, was less concerned with the Ofians surrounding him, and
more concerned with the dragon’s tail he had just sunk his teeth into. Syranore, turned around slowly, looking at the half-demon in disbelief. “You...bit... my.. tail”
“Yes, but it’s not cooked. I can’t eat it raw...” Tavanesh responded as he watched the moving tail mournfully.
Syranore swiped a claw at him. “YOU BIT ME!” That set them both off. Tavanesh ducked the claw then lunged forward at the dragon, hoping to get a nice bite of juicy meat. Syranore smacked him aside so that he tumbled end over end on the ground.
The Ofians surrounding Syranore and Tavanesh watched their antics with interest, drawing closer and closer in a tight circle around them. When they were about five feet away, Syranore and Tavanesh looked at each other cooly, stopped bickering, wrestling, and fighting with each other, and then they attacked. Syranore whirled around, knocked most over with his tail then he leaped on a couple and took to ripping them limb from limb with his teeth and talons. Tavanesh dropped the rune-covered sword from earlier and stepped on it by accident. He could hear the sound of metal shattering from inside the scabbard but he drew two scimitars and began swinging those at the Ofians alongside Syranore.
“Aye, lads! That’s nice teamwork!” Gallant roared at the squabbling dragon and half-demon as he smashed two Ofians’ heads together and Sir Wax jabbed his pencil into the chest of another next him.
“To me boys! To me!” Sir Wax called out as he slid off Vehement’s saddle, using his roller blades to skate on the hard packed earth and propelling himself by using his arms to swing around tree trunks. His wooden sword lay on the ground somewhere, now forgotten, while he wielded his pencil with accuracy and fervor as Tavanesh, Syranore, and Gallant made their way towards him, cutting Ofians down as they went.
Syranore stopped suddenly, holding a hand up to the rest. “One sec...-“ He let out a huge belch and his fiery breath caught about three Ofians in its wake. He thumped himself on his chest with a fisted claw and gave the remaining Ofians big, fanged smile. “Your buddy tasted like chicken.. Or sheep.”
While Syra distracted and unsettled the remaining ones, Gallant and Sir Wax circled around them, each hand an end of rope in their hands. At a wink from the roller blading knight, Syranore snapped his jaws at them, taking a menacing step closer, and that sent them running.
“NOW!” Tavanesh yelled.
Sir Wax and Gallant each picked up the end of rope they had and pulled sharply. The fleeing Ofians ran right into it and the rope caught most around the middle, knocking the wind from them as they fell right on their asses. Tavanesh moved quickly, using his teleportation abilities to tie their wrists and ankles together swiftly.
“Well done boys. We’ve done IF proud today!” Gallant gave a sharp nod and looked at his comrades.
“Syranore, can you toss the living in the ASS Hole? We may want to interrogate them later.” Sir Wax suggested, flicking a curl of dark hair from his eyes.
“Righto.” Syranore gave the winded and bound Ofians another smile and then scooped them up into a big pile, making a nice ball to carry in his claws.
As the dragon took off, Tavanesh started looking around. “Where’d the fairy thingy chick go?”

Lily, as it turned out, was having issues of her own. Neurosis had pulled her farther away as the battle started looking worse for the Ofians and she was pissed. “Stop moving around! You’re making this very difficult!” He hissed in her ear, one arm still pinning her arms and holding her tightly to him from behind and the other still covering her mouth. He’d dropped the blade he cut her with back in Fantasy Forest, and now he’d gotten as fair as the edge of Open Forum. But he stumbled over something under foot and, Lily, feeling him loosen his grip in his surprise, took her opportunity and unfurled her wings to shove him away.
“You sonofa -“ She cut off her swear word as she noticed what he had tripped over. Snoozing in a big pile were the younger IFians, Mastermind, Trampinastorm,Vamps, Sasuke, Whitey, and Meanie. Lily wrinkled her nose at them, tempted to wake them all up and tease them with a “Aww.. How cute...” statement, but she had bigger fish to fry.
Neurosis had tumbled end over end away from the pile of sleepers and smacked into a tree and was dusting himself off when Lily flew right into him, tackling him off his feet. They wrestled and snarled at each other until Lily punched him in the gut and stood up, hauling him off the ground with one hand clenching his lapels. She pulled her fist back to hit him when he put his hands up saying, “Not the face! Not the face!”
Lily smirked. “Fine then. Now I think here is a FINE place to ask my questions.”
Neurosis whimpered as she feinted moving her fist forward. “What do you want to know?”
“Lordy’s whiskey suppliers... in the last batch. What was it that was added to them, who did it, and why?” Lily practically snarled in his face.
“How did you figure -“ Neurosis started to speak when Lily snapped at him.
“I’m a very smart fairy.. I would suggest you played your cards straight.”
Neurosis gulped audibly, eyeing the white knuckled fist that was tensed in preparation to hit him at the first sign of treachery.

DP: What does Neurosis tell Lily? Strange, I know, to give you control over the villain but really.. what information Lily gets decides her next move.

| The villan stutters first LOL and then he sais that she is after the wrong person that she should go into the shadow world of the ifain world inorder to get to the real boss. ^_^

As for the info...
I think he should just cop a feel of her, thinking that if he's about to get smashed he should be smashed for a good reason. Lilith beats the crap out of him so he's unconscious and she has no way to get the info now. She might kill him too so she's all outta options. 
Yes, call me a perv, but I think it would be funny.

| I know this is a really crazy idea...but perhaps the villian was one of the infected people to completely alay suspicioun, but took a time release capsule with the antidote in it so they could escape and move around afterwards. Then it could be anyone from lordy to CF or whomever. The really question is why more then who is the villian. Or...perhaps Jez or IM were in on it as well, staging the capture to look plausible. After all when the villian had an antidote and virus for himself...why did he not infect them, protecting possible rescue? Some big twists I know but they are just food for thought. Perhaps there are other reasons why things went down the way they did.

 You have no idea how many times we have actually had this conversation... both at the Inn and in RL.
As for a dp suggestion.... to be honest, all of my plausible ideas have been said already. I think I like Warsor's idea about IM and Jez being the masterminds behind this all.[/list]

| Actually I'm 100% sure Lilith already has the mastermind picked out I was more just musing possible accomplices or possible plot twists. For the actual DP I'd have the guy tell lilith a lie that she believes and turns her against one of her friends(maybe Syranore or someone like that...then a bit of fighting...)

If he does tell her a lie to turn her against Syranore it should be a very clever one that she believes herself. One of the greatest weapons of villians are their words and ability to plant the seeds of doubt.
Lilith may not immediately turn and attack syranore, more likely she'll be convinced by some unexplainable action of his or paranoid suspicions. The OFian just needs to play his cards right and it could turn into a very dramatic moment.

| After nuerosis lies and turns Lilith against synanore, I guess she can beat nuero up after he has told it and tried running away. After that he can tell another lie, by saying she has the wrong guy, but eventually his lying would prove him to be an idiot, it will only make him untrust-worthy.
