I love you.
Overwhelming simplicity.
Unimaginable complexity.
Somehow these two opposites coexist beautifully in this one short phrase.
I love you.
I love your being.
Your spirit.
Your soul.
The way you lead me to follow after God and seek Him in all that I do.
I love you.
I love your heart.
The way you see life.
The way you value me.
The simplest of things you do just to make sure I know that you love me.
I love you.
I love your honor.
Your values.
Your trust.
You cherish our innocence till the day of our marriage with a care equal to my own.
I love you.
I love your mind.
Your thoughts.
Your plans.
I can talk to you for hours and walk away feeling unparalleled fulfillment, only to return hungering to hear more.
I love you.
I love you.
As I’ve never loved another.
Nor will I love again.
My soul mate and best friend, God willing you will remain for all of eternity.

Simple but honest. 
Hey, if you want, TB could move this to the poetry forum (since it does seem more verse than prose) and we could start a theme-based thread. That way, anybody could post their love-poems here, and we could make a chain of them! It would be really interesting to read all of the different perspectives on love/romance/sexuality.
Whaddaya say?

Yes, I just had to be informed. 
But it looks like this was created after I logged out, and moved before I logged in, and I had no idea that it was in the romance section once.

I told myself on the date that I'd tell you,
there is something new and absolutely extraudinary about you,
I hope you see one day that I care a lot more,
even if I am quite the sore,
I not only like you, but something more

Loving this thread - I'll have to try one of my own soon I think.
Mr B - a song I presume? One of those 'power ballad' types? Nice!
BBS - A very touching sentiment indeed! I find a strong connection to others in the moon as well. It does 'breach the distance' as I feel you were indicating there, with those afar in space, yet close in heart.
Andolyn - I thought I had commented on this long ago but I've been wrapped up in a whirlwind of activity so I musn't have. But I thought yours was a great way to start a great thread. The appeal to the soul mate is always going to be a strong one, and you delivered it nicely. Interesting use of meter as well with that third line. I like such unique approaches in poetry.

I figured i would write a few more poems out... Please tell me if they make any sence >.<

I think that I might fly away, in my hot air balloon,
And hide from worldly worries on the dark side of the moon;
There’s but one thing I need before I float into the blue:
I need a sky companion and I want it to be you.
We’ll fly beyond the storm clouds and we’ll watch from up above,
I’ll cover you in rainbows as we feel each others’ love;
You’ll shower in the stars at midnight in our special place,
I’ll dry you with a comet’s tail and kiss your beaming face.
Dreamy drifting panorama, changing every day,
Every night your loving smile will be my milky way,
The moon will wane before us, sailing there in heaven’s height,
For nothing else can challenge our love’s everlasting light.
Venus shining on us, glowing soft at our devotion,
Our daily drifting dalliance in love’s celestial ocean,
I’ll write you lovers’ poetry, and you will be my muse,
Orion and Andromeda will oversee our cruise.
We’ll sleep with clouds as pillows, maybe steal an angel’s wings,
Then fly as magic lovebirds, or slide round Saturn’s rings,
And should we tire of drifting and the stars all floating by,
We’ll hook onto a meteor and soar across the sky.
