| You should take what you can salvage from the pod (if anything is useful and easy to carry) and hide somewhere. You can't wait around for someone to save you, and I don't think we would do that anyway. After you are safely concealed then try to make your way to the outskirts of the city, and look for anyone else that has survived.

I too, say that defending yourself, evading capture, and seeking other survivors remain top priorities. We're in a wild and undeveloped area now, aren't we? Lets see some wild beasties attack, or maybe run across other inhabitants that don't appreciate the take-over of their city.
