A quick technicality:

One of them doesn't need to be there.
How about bringing the outside in. The room is filled with snow, a cold wind howls through, and there doesn't appear to be a ceiling, but a dark sky full of clouds. The room boundaries still exist, but it's a large room and at first glace, it could be an entire world through the door.
Perhaps it's the remains of a long forgotten spell gone wrong, or the original families version of keeping the beers cold.

| I think that Narg needs another lusty maiden to appear... Lusty maidens are fun... I would say some sort of dungeon/torture chamber, considering the place, but with another door on the other end of the dungeon, leading up to the kitchens, which are full of strange stuff. The kitchens might contain a side door... Don't forget to rescue the soon to be tortured maiden from the torture chamber!

Fear not Evil Homer, you will be in, I promise! I have a double-your-money back guarantee! The story has broken loose and is going off at all angles at the moment, so I couldn't fit you in this ep, that's all 'cos I want to make you a worthy character. Else you would have been 'Bob!'
Thanks for the grammar point Smee, I wrote this chapter quite quickly and didn't check it as well as I usually do. I like your idea by the way.
I think the dungeon needs to be 'down'. Hyperion, it would have been a torture chamber if people had voted for 'down the stairs'. However, don't worry, I have plans in this direction, and of course - lusty maidens!!!
Fear not everyone, there is plenty of life left in this story yet! Oh yes indeed.

Definitely find out what Evil Homer wants from him. Also do the usual "how do I know you won't betray me?" routine. Then agree to do it. Narg will stab him in the back anyway so it doesn't matter if its a raw deal just as long as the stone to flesh is cast before they leave, not once they get back.
If Gorgus makes a scene about working with the lich, tell him that its the only way to save Shogun's life. Saving lives is good, right?

I'd say carry on. They're stout adventurers, they can take a bit of exhaustion. And can Narg really trust someone so cold and frigid, when she's making such hot promises? Not to sound too cynical, but I reckon he'd get more action from the halfling!
