Narg being Narg, he should stay and "rest". Ahem. The other two are bitter and untrusting respectively, so I'm sure they'll be on the look out for trouble or deceit.
As for danger, I don't think pushing on is lacking in its dangers either, so staying is no big deal.

Let's stick with the good old lusty maidens and Narg, shall we? :o Womanising gives it that level of class it needs...  But seriously, you do need to have that part in the story for general consistancy. Narg is a person of primal appetites and therefore would consider sharing a bed with someone when it is cold more important than charging through icy castles through hordes of screaming demons, led by the Demon Lady, Phang, who could probably tear them to shreds if they aren't careful... All to give a small ring to a being of great evil who will probably kill them anyway as they leave. Who they will free onto the world.

I put a third option in to 'attack' the IQ, but it could also be to use force her to do their bidding, to achieve their goals, whatever they may be! It's a bit vague I know.
