Chapter 29
An overview.
Phang, an evil Dark Sorceress of unmatched power, sent her Army north to invade the Silver Lands, which consist of Gnome, Human and Elven realms.
After a seige at the Great Allied Fort of Cra-yon pass was broken by the inervention of Phang herself, the army moved on towards the Gnome lands and the Capital City, Chundyer.
The city was taken through stealth in the end, and King Chundyer and a small party forced to flee north, through a desert and into unknown lands.
Phang's horde then turned West and, after breaking the last of the Gnome forces in battle arrived in Wulfland, run by Lord Ravagerrr who had allied with her cause.
Homer. The Hero Paladin 'Evil' Homer was based in Fort Cra-yon as the story starts. Here he met an Oafich Duke, Reg who accompanies him on his adventures.
He is sent out to assassinate Phang as she comes to aid her forces laying siege to the castle, but fails in his task, and only survives through intervention of Sorrow.
Wishing to redeem himself, he sets off to find the Black Heart, an artifact of Power that could hold the key to defeating Phang.
Meeting and then losing Witch Stoat on the way, as well as a variety of other characters, he finally catches up to the Heart, which has been taken by Sorrow, only to be killed in battle.
Sorrow and Idea Master.
Sorrow, a mysterious but powerful mage has pursued an agenda of his own from the beginning of the tale. Playing both sides he helped Homer escape Phangs' sending, Lord of the Night, but later snatched Sunbellina, a young witch, to help him retrieve the Black Heart.
Sacrificing his longtime unwanted companion, Idea Master, to aid his journey he managed to snatch the Heart even as Homer watched. Homer pursued him, foolishly alone, and Sorrow killed him using his magic, only to lose the Heart to a Light One.
Meanwhile Idea Master proved more reslient than expected and rose from his sacrificial bed as a skeletal figure, and now pursues Sorrow, bent on revenge.
Lord of The Night
Summoned by Phang to first stop Homer, and then to get the Black Heart for her, Lord has been on the trail ever since. Killing the Witch Stoat, fighting dragons and chasing his nemisis, the Chamber Pot he is still in the game.
His ultimate loyalty though, is to his Dark Masters.
Witch Stoat
The Guardian of the Heart, the Ancient witch was captured by Phang and later killed by Lord of the Night. Not though, before engaging in a lustful affair with General Powers, the leader of Phang's armies.
After her death Powers' had her stuffed and in this form she carries on.
