I beg to differ, Masterweaver. There was no such mention in your post!
It took 4 posts to sort that little lot out, including the introduction of dopplegangers by your good self afterwards! Please read other people's stuff properly, before posting!
OK, I had to do some serious editing to my latest post because I missed something in Xansta's ... (if you had read it before reading this, it might be worth reading again  ) but now the real D and Crunchyfrog are heading through the foggy residential area towards City Central, there are no dopplegangers any more, and the rest of the group are in the Open Forum. (Well, MW and Xansta are still heading back there)
New plot twists since, include the revelation that Sasuke is a half breed dragon, the Idearium miners are not a happy lot, and there is a rampaging mob on its way to the Mayoral Mansion. Which is also located somewhere in City Central.

Actually, it is located in the southern city, which is admitidly the same area as City central.
On palace road.
I suppose it could be considered part of city central though...
(I'm basing this off my hommade map in the IFki.)

You agreed that Lecro would have no further involvement in this story.
The reasons for myself and others asking for you to withdraw him were made clear.
Whether or not he left a threat in the cell is irrelevant.
I am publically requesting that any future posts by you involving Lecro be deleted immediately. I am also requesting that such posts involving Lecro be completely ignored by all other participants until they are deleted.
If you are unable to control yourself in the Hangover story, or are unable to comply with this request, I would strongly suggest you withdraw posting from it completely.
Ref the other comments here - I have not yet had time to read the details of Masterweaver's post and those subsequent to it, but will do later today.

Okay. Having looked at the last few posts of the story, and as the topic starter of the Hangover, I've made the following decisions.
Masterweaver.
You are clearly not taking any notice of the plot, and it appears that you are only interested in letting Lecro loose on the story.
I started this story as an experiment, hoping that if it was consistently written well enough by all co-authors acting independently and as a team, it might get to Jester Park on that merit alone. YOU HAVE SINGLE HANDEDLY RUINED THAT POSSIBILITY, and I am not going to elaborate on my feelings about that here.
Therefore, Masterweaver, I have now requested that any future posts from you containing Lecro, in any of his guises, or any of his plot devices or legacies are deleted.
If you cannot stop posting about Lecro, his plot devices and his legacy, then I WILL ask you to withdraw completely from the Hangover story. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
D-Lotus - If you feel uncomfortable with being a part of Sasuke's heritage, I am sure you will be able to find a clever way of writing around it... The image of the Lotus flower might mean something else.... something that might be even more awesome for him, and something that may be really important to the plot.... 
In future, if anyone is going to write something that is likely to affect the history and bio of another author's character, it is best to PM them first.
For example, I got inspired with an idea that Xansta might have been a soulless IFian, who has returned from the Well. I have not written it into the plot, but I have PM'd him asking if it is OK for me to do that, (waiting for him to read it still) The most I have done is have D theorize about it in the story, not actually say it is true.
Participating in a storygame like this is more difficult than it appears. To have built a story like this by just bouncing off one another's posts and keeping the continuity as stable as this the way we have done up to now is amazing. The intrigue in this story and suspense is building now. We're doing really well. This is turning into a good one. Let's keep going!!!

Masterweaver, Take a read through a large section of the Hangover story. Get the feel for what the different authors are developing in their plots, and how they are starting to twist them together into a story.
Then look at what you are doing.
Your Lecro posts are the metaphorical stupid child jumping all over and destroying an elaborate sandsculpture his friends are trying to make on the beach.
If you want to help make that beautiful sculpture, then keep contributing, by all means.
If not, then leave.

Welcome aboard Jezsharp, and also Lordofthenight! (at last, I wondered when you were going to post!)
Okay, my plot has culminated now. Which is this:
At the beginning of the story my character observed a strange foggy smoke hanging over the city, after the New Year party, and that something was 'not quite right'.
Having woven ideas together laid down by various people during the course of the story the fog is now this:
It contains anything up to all 16,000 exorcised souls, which have escaped from the Soul Well, and returned to the City, to play havoc by suggesting to hapless IFians that Chinaren is evil and will kill them all at a whim. (And they probably have a point, since it was he that cast them into the well in the first place!) The chemical makeup of this fog is not confirmed but has been theorized by Masterweavers character that it might be a very unstable gaseous combination of Idearium and Stupidium.
We dont know how or why it got there, I am leaving it up to the others to decide whether it is a symptom of either BS's plotting or Lordofthenight's plotting.
But please, dont let anyone suck it up or destroy it yet until we know who did it, it'd just ruin the suspense!
This is serious stuff, and central to the plot, so it can't just be dealt with by opening a portal, or whatever.
I think once more plots start to culminate, then we can really start tying the whole thing together.

I think some things are starting to be resolved too quickly. For instance, the idea of a mutated Fauna was brought in, and then found they couldn't hurt her. However, it was just one post later the group had realised this, formulated a plan, carried out the entire plan, and then started onto the next problem.

Well, although Sasuke resolved it rather quickly, you'll admit it was cleverly done, using our spare resources effectively. 
The Hangover has now easily become the fastest growing thread in the site, and one of the most popular ones (if not the most popular). I think that if this story should be submitted to the Review Board, it could be passed sheerly by its immense popularity. After all, this site should also be about growing and experimentation. In my opinion, the slightly less perfected posts within the Hangover are inconsequential due to the potential of the experiment. Perhaps, then, The Hov could be submitted for review. Or maybe the members of this experiment would prefer to wait for everyone's post quality to increase? Maybe we could use this thread for a votation?
Also- Masterweaver, your last post did not include Lecro, but it was off the bat. Please make some sense, or there will be less probability of passing the board.

I agree with Lordy on his point... I've seen it happen a few times, and it stops suspenseful situations being allowed to develop.
But that is what this thread is here for. If you post something and want to allow it to develop a bit without someone exerting their powers the next minute and saving the day in a flash, then post here and say so.
You dont need to reveal everything about your intended plot, but it helps your co-authors understand if you give a few hints to help them slot their plots in with yours.
This story is now at a stage where most people have more or less developed their plans. It is best to be flexible, and adapt your plans, though, because you never know what others have in store. The beauty of doing something like this is you never know the full outcome...

I think using this thread for a poll is an excellent idea. I am still tentative about submitting for review just yet, at least in this very raw format. I think a few rules still need to be formulated to encourage a consistently high quality of posting, and to prevent problems with plot clashes. Still having a think about how to do that.
The last place I want the Hangover to end up though is in Games. If that happens, I will consider it to have been completely misunderstood, and it will have failed as an experimental storygame.

Not all storygames have to completely follow the 'correct' guidelines. Look at Power's 'Dear Dotty' which had no polls at all, and simply had Dotty answering the reader's 'letters'.
As an idea to bring it to a nice, readable standard - one person could pierce together an actual chapter from this (or rather, I think it's four chapters by now). Edit out the parts that we agree don't make sense, remove blaring continuity errors. Remove Lecro full- stop - that sort of thing.
Currently I expect the story would fail the review, purely due to various spelling errors and the like.

Welcome aboard Din!
I'm working on a summary right now, and will get it up some time this weekend so you wont have to go trawling through the whole thread.
One of the rules of contribution is to keep posts to around 250 words or less, so that co-authors can keep up quickly. But since this is your initial post so far into the story, that's ok!!!

Lordy, if spelling is the only thing that is keeping this from being submitted and moved, then let's all get it sorted. How is this best done? Do we just all go back and edit our own posts? Or does someone with editing rights go through the entire thread?
I will read through and alert you of some of the more ridiculous continuity stuff that might need editing, although most of it has been handled 'in story' already, so if you remove the 'stupid post', you would also have to edit the 'patch up' post.
I will name the chapters at the summary points, too, if that helps.
As for buying a forum - I dont have that sort of money, let alone the 300F fine that I will get if this doesn't pass the review board. So it's just stuck here, I guess...

Another thing which I think is very important now, important enough to put in a seperate post:
We all need to be hinting a little more about what one another are doing. This is NOT an RPG, and some of us are kind of playing it like one.
Look back at some of your co-author's posts. For example, way back, Kalanna mentioned there was something in her hoard, she kept checking back on. It's obviously still there. What might it be?
Lordofthenight wants D and two others for test subjects. What for? And what is it that Kalanna is so worried about that D might remember something, that she just doesn't want to have anything to do with?
This discussion thread, was set up for that purpose. For example:
I know that Polokin and BS are out hunting for D, for their own reasons. Kalanna is also out hunting for D for her reasons.
The authors should be trading hints, either here or by PM - I am not aware of what either party has in store for D plotwise, but what might happen if the two join forces? What might happen if they decide to fight over D?
If hints are traded here, it also helps the rest of the co-authors, as we weave our plots around the whole story.
It looks very much to me that D-Lotus is emerging in the central 'hero' role - it is definite that BS is a baddie, and it is looking increasingly like Lordy and Kalanna are up to no good also.

Crunchy Frog has been working very hard on this and hasn't been making any Fables for it. I'm donating 100 Fables to him and encourage others to do the same so that he can afford a review.

| First time Authors still get their First storygame for free. Therefore don't need to donate 500F. However, if their Review fails, they will need to donate 300F each time it fails for the admin costs.

Well, I guess I might pose the question here.
BS mentioned a while back that D-Lotus had some sort of 'powers', and somebody else mentioned it later as well. I tried to expand on this by having IM mention it in one of my posts. D (the character) doesn't remember any of this, though. But as he slowly begins remembering things, he also begins developing skills. So far, D has remembered his old reflexes, especially at shooting, and he has also recovered his 'spider senses', which I called 'sleuth sense'. He has a sixth sense with which he can detect foraneous carachters following him, etc. But other than that, I'm not sure what else. There has to be something in those powers that is making him a target? What is it that D has that everyone is afraid/wants to get rid of him? Any ideas?
